Publisher's summary

Lindsay Subbloom's marriage didn't make it past the honeymoon. Her prince had a secret that she never saw coming. Now an internet obsession is keeping her connected to a brokenhearted past.

Her sister knows that if Lindsay doesn’t let go of her horrible new habit, she'll have no future. Enter her brilliant idea - the gift of going offline. She hopes pushing Lindsay back into the real world will open the door for a second chance at love.

When Seth O'Shea sets his sights on the beautiful third-grade teacher, there';s an instant connection. Insta-smitten quickly turns to insta-smut. And when insta-love starts settling in, it looks like Lindsay may just get the fairy tale she's always dreamed of in time for Christmas. But what happens when she reconnects? Will she finally get her happily ever after? Or will old habits resurface and make her new man bounce before it begins?

Loved it

This story had me completely hooked. It sets the mood for the holidays with just enough Passion and heat.
Seth is my man! My type of man. He knows what he wants and he gets it.
This is a new author to me and I wasn’t disappointed. I highly recommend this book

The duo of narrators did an excellent job with this story. Their voices played perfectly with the emotions of the book. Flawless work!!!

I loved, loved it!

This was such a fun story. I wish I could give Ryan, Tor and Charley a hundred stars instead of only five! Don’t miss this one. It made my day.

A Sweet and Modern Love Story

I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.
This short novella is a sweet love story in a contemporary world of mass communication and electronic devices. Forced to "live" a few weeks without internet access, the protagonist rediscovers what real love is and abandons her obsessive stalking behavior. If you are an internet user, you can definitely sympathize with her predicament if not with her obsession. The characters are likable and make for a good light read. Pleasant all around.

Super sweet holiday love story

Okay, I have to say that I DO sometimes make snap judgements on book covers. I don't love this one. That being said, don't judge THIS book by it's cover. I loved this book! Ryan Ringbloom crafted a wonderful love story perfect for the holiday or, well, anytime! Tor Thom and Charley Ongel are, as always, wonderful together as narrators and I don't see any reason why listeners wouldn't enjoy their performances.

A disconnected Christmas is the story of elementary school teacher Lindsay and hot dad of her past student Seth. He knows who she is but she doesn't know him through anything other than the emails they sent back and forth when Seth's son had her for a teacher. They both have some stuff in their past that makes it difficult for them to start new relationships and well, they just click. Without telling the whole story, I can just say that it's a super fun and sweet story and I throughly enjoyed listening! I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a sweet, fun, holiday love story. I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher for an honest review.

Great Holiday Listen

What made the experience of listening to A Disconnected Christmas the most enjoyable?

It was funny and sweet.

Have you listened to any of Tor Thom and Charley Ongel ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This was my first from this duo. I think the duet style really worked for this book and I enjoyed it. The narration was good for this book and I would listen to a book narrated by them again.

Any additional comments?

I really enjoyed listening to this book. I loved the concept of Lindsay being addicted to internet stalking her ex and her sister taking matters into her own hands by ruining her phone and taking her computer. I really liked the romance between Lindsay and Seth. It's different to see a romance develop in this day without the access of technology and how that was a challenge to Lindsay and Seth. This was a really sweet story and I was surprised I liked it so much. Definitely looking for more from this author.

Incredibly endearing Christmas love story

I received this audiobook for free in return for an honest review and I’m so glad I did. Ryan Ringbloom is an incredibly refreshing and hilarious author. Lindsey and Owen are such incredible characters with painful pasts who find healing and love in each other. This sweet and swift love story is engaging and the only thing lacking was “more”!

A Disconnected Connected Christmas

This audiobook was not at all what I had envisioned but that's a good thing. I actually didn't read the blurb or the genre but listened to a bit of the sample and fell in like with that. I thought the storyline was cute albeit sorta cheesy but...I like cheesy. I think this was a great listen by Ryan Ringbloom. I would listen to more audios by him, especially with these two narrators.

Tor Thom's and Charley Ongel's duel narration was superb. This isn't normally my genre but by straying out of my comfort zone, I found a new author and two new readers I really like. This was a super fun listen.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
