Just the beginning…

I love the descriptions in this book. I can imagine every detail from the feel of a fabric to the smells of the desserts. Tahereh Mafi did a fantastic job of capturing me and transporting me into this fantasy world. I’m now invested and can’t wait to read These Infinite Threads to continue the story of Alizeh.

Beautifully Written Plot

I enjoyed every inch of this book. The world building was fantastic and as is the characters very complex. The narrator is fantastic.

You are about to embark on the greatest most fulfilling journey - that one tik tok that girl did (read the book it’s slow in the beginning but makes it all the more richer in the end)

Fantastic Novel

This gripped me the entire time! I wanted to just listen at 2x speed to get it into my brain quicker because it was SO GOOD and I wanted to know how it ended. I am recommending this to everyone, and I eagerly await book 2! Tahereh is a master at writing and deserves all the recognition for it!!

I got this on sale because it looked fun. It was that and more. Brilliant writing and the narration was great. I will now buy the next in the series.
