Incredible Dark Fantasy Romance

Back in the world of Devram as this audiobook listen was a re-read.

Listening to the emotionally intense moments in Rain of Shadows and Endings on audio, brought to life by two incredible narrators had my heart in a chokehold all over again. I loved it!

The dynamics of this complicated, push and pull relationship are no less maddening the second time around. This MMC remains a character that I hate to love as my heart breaks for Tess over and over again.

This story kept my interest the entire time. I loved the connection to the other series as well/ I cannot wait to read the next book!

Wow, just wow!

If you loved Lady of Darkness, you will love this series as well. The ending- wow! To be honest, the whole book was an emotional rollercoaster but the ending gave me goosebumps and I cannot wait for book two! Seriously, internally screaming!

Broke my heart in the BEST way!

The author has absolutely crushed this. I could literally feel everything the FMC went through and I loved it. The female narrator has such good accents that she can carry throughout! The male narrator kinda inhales hard which can be a little annoying but still really really good. I have listened to it twice already <3

Read this series with my eyes twice and with my ears once.
Absolutely love it.

My one complaint is the male narrator isn’t “shadow daddy” sounding… he sounds quite young so that was a disconnect for me.
