Enjoyable

Very enjoyable and entertaining. The readers were excellent and the story was very good. A good twist at the end and I’m looking forward to book 2.

Another "new to me" author

I went into this book completely blind. I think you could say that this is a combination of a Bridgerton, The Cruel Prince and The Selection....kind of. All in all, I actually liked the plot. Unfortunately, it was just too long. There was too much unnecessary information which led to issues in pacing and made it hard to keep up the tension level.

The story surrounds our FMC IVY Benton who lives in an alternate London in 1848. In this world, England is completely cut off from the rest of the world and ruled by a Faerie Queen. This Queen is an immortal who tends to love to "play" with the humans under her rule.

We follow Ivy during her coming out year. There are crazy bargains with the Queen to be made, then the whole social craziness with the Ton, and then out of the blue, the Queen announces that her son - Prince Bram - is going to find his wife from the girls coming out that year.

This changes everything. Ivy finds herself as one of the finalists and has 12 weeks to convince the Prince that she is the one. To make things interesting, there is also ANOTHER Prince who always seems to be around........

Will I continue on with this series? Honestly, I'm not sure. I did enjoy parts of it.....I guess we'll see.

Great plot! I couldn’t put it down

Great read!!! If you like the selection series with a touch more magic you will love this

THE ENDING

It could be a bit slow at times, but I love the love story and the ENDING AHHHHHH! I am excited for the second book to see where the story will go

Incredible premise and amazing plot twists

Absolutely loved it! Story is incredible and new. Ivy is a great main character who isn’t one dimensional. Voice actors did an outstanding job! Cannot wait for the sequel
