Tidbits of wisdom

I love it when Dr. Thema says, “The way home is lit by truth.” The first step in homecoming, or the journey our souls take to return to our authentic selves, is truth telling. We follow our truth back home to ourselves. Women who have experienced trauma, learn early on to be perfectionists and superwomen thinking that’s gonna give us control over our lives. But we’re still coming from trauma when we do that, we’re just over-compensating. Dr. Thema has a gentle way of expressing a truth that’s really hard to hear.

Healing for every age group

No matter our age (I’m 65), we can benefit from these stories. Childhood memories (even the good ones) that aren’t fully processed can alter our relationships, our life perspective, and negatively impact our journey into adulthood. The interviews resonated with me and have provided clarity and energy for new beginnings.

Helping Future Generations

This was the best of the current goop series. Even if we have been raised in a loving family we all carry baggage from our past family lives. This episode contained helpful thoughts and positive self talk.

Healing!!

The goop in a real thing and I am so appreciative of the stories shared here. Both of the women stories aligned with my own personal life. It is mind-blowing especially the lady with the military father. Wow! Even down to her birthday being in September.
The practitioner is an amazing guide as she helps to keep her patient grounding by using holistic modalities. This was just what I needed today on my walk. Awesome work and thank you!

too much whining for me 2nd person

but I understand people feel what they feel and need to express and release. I personally can't sit through therapy sessions tho so it's just not the podcast foe me. Nothing against the healing! and more power to all ♥️

Affirmations

I loved the affirmations that she gives you to say even the full in the blank one. It is important to acknowledge where we are in life and pat ourselves on the back and know it’s okay to do so.
