I recommend the story

the first book saw our main character as a street kid picked up my cultivator. there was something unique about him that in my opinion was never really expanded upon in the first book nor now in the second. it is simply explained as something that is unexplainable but allows the main character to hide himself to a certain degree. in the first book it was training and then starting out on his journey. this book is fully covering his journey abroad while discovering who he is and how he wants to act. he does good stuff but also makes quite a few mistakes. we get our first love interest in the book and our main character gets in way over his head. I think that the book has a proper ending, but it would not surprise me if some argued that it was a soft cliffhanger. perhaps it would be more accurate to say that the book ends leading into what's going to happen next. with that I will simply say Well done to everybody who had a hand in bringing the story to us, the audiobook listeners.

Great sequel

I liked this book a lot more than the first book. There were less training montages and more adventure. The MC is a cool guy and is already OP. I’ll definitely check out the next book. The narrator does a great job.

It was good

This book was worth the credit. One chapter repeats though. I look forward to the next book.

That's what bloopers should be!

I was ecstatic when I saw the last chapter named Bloopers. At first I thought it was just going to be the narrator just do fumbles in parts of the story but no, it was true bloopers of random shit happening in a few clips. It's tye funniest thing I've heard in a while, also the story was good. One star less than the first one but plus a star for the bloopers.

Who knew so much could happen by chance? What we learn is that what ever is pushing him does lead him into trouble.

I really injoy this story and the where it's going. The character building and the world building is really great.

Good, Straightforward Xianxia

I've loved reading translated xianxia novels for around ~8 years now and this is one of the best non-Chinese examples of the genre I've found. Cultivation, the jianghu, traveling cultivators, it's a good time. While the main character isn't the most sparkling personality, he's good enough to get along with and it's just generally a fun light read
