And the wandering cultivator’s life will never be the same…

A quality entry but apathetic

The writing is good. But the protagonist has lost his way. He is just so apathetic it is depressing. The story really has been about the creative way the protagonist kills those who wrong him. While he has his reasons for each death the creativity borders on cold blooded. And the character I so enjoyed has become painful to listen too. This may be my off ramp if the next book follows form.

Another great book!

This was another hit in the series! keep them coming, I can't wait to see what awaits our MC after such major accomplishments in this book.

Unintended Cultivator - Vol 8

We’re heading back to the capital. Sen answered the king’s summons. And leaves a trail of bodies in his route. Many bodies. New characters are introduced. New characters bring new plot lines for the future. All that and more as Sen deals with nobles. Nobles and sects. Still a compelling story with the humor and action we expect from the series. one thing holding this series back IMO

love the books, but there is one habit of the writer I think is getting worse and distracting. the endless internal monolog full of neurotic whining and false humility is starting to erode my affection for the protagonist. I hope this stops soon before he becomes totally intolerable.

love the way he deals with sect members though, need more of that!
