Voice is hard to listen to

The topic is something I really need to learn more about, but I cannot listen to the voice of the reader. She’s putting me to sleep! It’s a mix between robotic and monotone. I feel that I’ve wasted my money on this book. Is there a way to see the print so I can read it for myself? I really can’t give a review on the story because I couldn’t listen past the first few pages.

Not about Covert Narcissicm

This is a really poorly read, poorly written book. The narrator is monotone. She didn’t seem to know how to pronounce some words or use punctuation, often reading fragments as sentences which causes the listener confusion. The writing was disjointed; it jumped from topic to topic. She also writes really stupid sentences like, “You should try to get along with a narcissist.” Do not spend money on this.

Good content bad narration

After reading the reviews I thought it would be a hood narrator- oh my- nice voice but the pattern of her performance is monotonous and has a constant repeated beat to it that could help me fall to sleep UGH

not focused covert narcissist

I got this book specifically to learn about covert narcissism and the title is very misleading. She's speaking to narcissism in general.

This is Bad

This is just a mashup of information easily researched online, it reads like it was written by an AI text generator or a google translation from a language that is not English. I'm pretty sure the author is not a real person, there is nothing else about this "renowned" psychologist anywhere on the internet, and the voice reading it sounds like an AI voice, maybe "Clare Radix" is a real name but she sounds like a robot. I am going to try to get a refund for this one, I am just writing a review in the hopes that someone else reads them before actually buying this audio book.

great explanation and detail

having dated and been wronged by a covert narcissist this helps get a lot of closure from an otherwise crappy relationship. The thought process as well as the cycle of a narcissist explains my relationship like a lay book. Educate yourself and be prepared.
