Can't stop, won't stop

This audiobook came by strong recommendation from a friend. I like to believe I am not much of a procrastinator which is why I was hesitant to engage in it. Since then, I am 5 chapters in and cannot stop listening. It is a wealth of valuable insight. It discusses much more than just procrastination, it broaches on many other subjects, including productivity, mental focus, and mind frame. It is a great listen, I highly recommend it. I think we could all benefit from this right now

Procrastination is something so many of us struggle with. And, with the virus-related lockdowns and the closings of our schools, gyms, and workplaces, procrastination has never been more dangerous and widespread than it is today. As we all work from home, we’re distracted without end by our devices, TVs, families, and the like.

It’s a really relevant read, especially given the state of the world in 2020. It will help you plan and prepare rather than sit around idly and wait for distractions to come your way. It’s definitely worth listening to.

Very Helpful!

I struggle with procrastination when I get overwhelmed. I appreciate that this book focuses on mindset change and not a complete change in lifestyle. The author touches on why we procrastinate, and why procrastination happens. So valuable! The techniques in this book are priceless, and bringing in more calm into my life is so welcome! Highly recommending this!

Tough love

As a avid multi-tasker, this is a tough but necessary pill to swallow. Focus and completion beat busy work any day of the week. My take away from this book is quality over quantity

Just what I needed!

To be honest, this whole covid situation has been rough on me. I have felt more lost than ever and doubted myself in ways I haven't before. I picked up this audiobook in hope to understand myself better and stop procrastination and I have to say that it has given me a lot of inspiration. The most interesting chapter for me was Chapter 8 - Working From Home. Since early spring I have been working from home, and it has been a struggle. Now I finally have some tools and knowledge and will be sharing this audiobook with my colleagues. I loved the book, and my life is definitely changing. I cant wait to see how different my life will be in a year.

Great audiobook for who tends to procrastinate.

What I appreciated the most is the fact that the author provides many examples and you can choose if they works for you or not.
Because she knows that everyone is different.
She pushes the reader in the right way, without putting to much pressure, but at the same time giving precious tools to manage better our priorities.

Very insightful

I have been ignoring the fact that I procrastinate a lot, but it has always been back of my head, and I was conscious about it, but again I was procrastinating to solve this issue. So I finally decided to deal with it and pick this book to listen to. This book is full of insights, and I felt it grabs me in the collar and smacks me on the floor, but I have learned a lot about myself and my habit of procrastination. I have mainly learned a lot about prioritizing my time, choosing my time wisely, and spending my time on those things I really value. Not only that this book is full of great pieces of advice, but also the author links some of the core things related to the subject like of self-worth, self-confidence, as well as the ways in which mindfulness, meditation, and positive thinking can help change your perspective and, therefore, your procrastination habits. Overall it’s a very positive and inspiring book. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who delays things and don’t know how to prioritize things.

Functional, Practical, Simple!

My entire life I've struggled with procrastination, whether in school or at work, and while this habit has decreased with age, I still find it an issue now and then. I bought this audiobook as a way to improve myself during COVID, and wow has it changed the way I think about my daily routine! Breaking the Procrastination Habit lays out a series of techniques and strategies for not only overcoming procrastination, but ways to diagnose and eliminate the tendency on a psychological basis.

The author is well informed on the subject matter, and the narrator is clear, easy to understand, and engaging throughout the entire audiobook. For anyone looking for a strong method to overcome procrastination at any level, I would definitely recommend this book!

Insightful

A must read for people who don't get anything done

This is a great book that I believe 99% of the world needs to listen to. The biggest struggle today is getting anything done with a million things going on around you. The book gives insightful tips on how to beat the art of procrastination and gain back clarity. Really enjoyed this book and I'm going to make my employees listen to it!
