Great resource

Anyone looking for an encyclopedia on improving your life should consider this book. I bought the audio version as a compliment to the book, but the resources online help the audiobook stand on its own. There is some repetition between chapters, but that helps each chapter stand on its own as an individual resource. Highly recommended.

Amazing amount of invaluable experience based information

Anybody that lives in a body, and is disciplined and intelligent enough to take care of that body. This is a must have book!!!
Or should I say compendium absolutely incredible thank you, Mr. Greenfield! I know this isn’t the only amazing tool that you have created for the human family.

Long, but great read

First, I have to say that this is a very long read. 40+ hours. A lot of it does not pertain to me and I don’t understand as it’s very technical and goes into things that I don’t understand. That being said it is a very good explanation on almost everything you need to do to create a healthier lifestyle And better healthier life balance. I love that the author doesn’t take a stance on what you should or should not do but takes a stance on here the things that will help you optimize yourself in different ways. He doesn’t say you have to go on this diet or that diet or be this type of an eater or that type of an eater. He goes into detail on each side and the benefits to both and doesn’t tell you what to do. Highly recommended will be using it as a reference guide in the future as it digs into things that I don’t right now understand but want to understand more

Amazing Book; so many mispronounciations

Only just over 2 hours in to this massive book, content is excellent. If you are a person who really gets super annoyed by mispronunciations of scientific words and well-known names in the field....buyer beware. Hundreds of mispronunciations within the first two hours of this amazing book. Not a deal breaker for me (the folks reading Pema Chodron or Brene Brown are deal breakers--Thanks, Dr Brown for rerecording The GIFTS!!!). The author does at least have a solid voice and is trying. I wish Mr Greenfield read the book himself ---even if he was walking while recording!!!!!
Again, the book is tremendous and the humor comes through also.

Everyone needs this book

Human beings need this book! I listened to it on 1.5x since it is very long, but I want to buy a hard copy since there is a lot of info I’d like to reference later. The length is not a problem- it is full of amazing information. I love Ben’s voice and only wish he was narrating it.

Great book!

I loved this book. It flowed well and was full of information. it was so good that I bought the hardcopy as a reference. I have already begun implementing the ideas in this book and I feel better than I have in years. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to improve their life in any way.

Good listen

I thought the narrator was fine. I wish it was Ben because I love his voice, so off one star for no Ben. I did not mind any mispronunciations. I'm not always sure if I have been sounding some of the supplements and medical terms correctly myself. I have a degree in Horticulture, and I hear plant names phonetically mispronounced all the time. It's ok. I even hear Ben say "Bearberine" when phonetically I say "Burrberine" for Berberine. Look it up and see who is right :)

The content is thick for an audio book. I am going to listen all the way through, then buy the book. I think I will get through it faster in audio format when I can multi task and listen. Too much content to sit down and read. But I will be familiar with the content and able to utilize the book as a reference more efficiently with the audio background information.

If you like Ben's podcast, you will love this book and love having it as a reference. I also enjoyed the humor and stories of his adventures woven into the technical information.
