This book was so good. I felt every emotion through Joe Arden’s narrating. My heart hurts so much for these characters.

This book, this audio. First read your triggers and take them seriously. This book is graphic and dark but for this author to write this book as her debut…. I am floored. Joe and Lee did a phenomenal job and what a performance. Excuse me while I now go have a glass of wine in the middle of the day.

I’m impressed with this book and sad about the ending and mad too 😂 it was so so good. I’m good at guessing things so I already knew some info just by guessing and how the story was written.
I loved the voice actors they were very good!

This is a beautifully tragic and heartbreaking story. And even though I knew it would be, I still felt unprepared for it. I was absolutely sobbing at the end, but I think this book will be on my mind for a while.

Check your TW before reading this because it is dark and there is no HEA.

This audiobook is duet narration performed by Lee Daniels and Joe Arden - they both did an amazing job and I couldn’t stop listening to this. They really embodied the characters and made it so much more intense!

This was everything I needed it to be. The yearning, the romance, the spice, lies, betrayal, and the tragedies throughout this whole audiobook is absolutely unmatched. By FAR my favorite audio book I’ve heard this far. The narrators worked well off each other but Joe Arden performance is what made this book so top tier for me. The storyline is predictable but DAMN I still loved (but hated) this listen. Check your triggers!! Some parts may be hard to listen to and get through as this is a dark romance tragedy.
