Stunning Narration

Is there a way for Seraphine to seem even more unhinged? Yes, listening to the things she does just takes it to a whole new level.

As twisted as she can be, she still had moments that made her sound so innocent. The fear and agony I heard from Seraphine broke my heart.

At first I wasn’t 100% sure I liked Leroi. He seemed unattached and lacked emotions. But as the story progressed he evolved and grew on me. That’s when I realized that’s exactly how he should sound.

The casting for this was beautiful!

I absolutely loved reading this book and coming back to listen to it, I had just as much fun. It brought the dark, unhinged, and twistedness to a new level. The tension and anxiety was ramped up as well. I couldn’t get enough of the slow burn and chemistry between Leroi and Seraphine. This also led to the spice being even spicier 😉🥵

I highly recommend giving this a listen or a read. Either way you don’t want to miss out on meeting Seraphine and Leroi.

Character Dynamic!!! Wow!!

This was a gruesome experience of heart ache for Seraphine. But Leroy… is the dark knight she needed. I love love love their relationship. This made it to my top reads!!! And the spicy scenes *chefs kiss *

I loved the storyline

It is a decadent dark tale with main characters to die for. The twists I expected didn't come and took a nice sharp left then right. I can't wait to listen again.

The Narration is Beyond

This is one of the first books I’ve read of this variety, and it didn’t disappoint. The narration was incredible and I couldn’t stop listening. Do listen to the warnings in the beginning. They weren’t kidding.

Wow!

This might be my favorite book that I have read/listened to in the last year out of 130 books. I laughed out loud in some parts and binged the book in a day. I can’t recommend this book enough! The narrator’s did a great job and the banter between the main characters was great. I really hope to read more from this author and to be able to find books that can hold up to this one with similar story lines. 10/10 recommend!

Complex subject matter

This book tackles a specific mental illness. One that most therapists are too scared to touch when they come across it. This book shows how this mental state is created in a person. It’s about a really really complicated thing caused by the evil in humanity and shows the kind of challenge needed to fix such horrible crimes.
