So Good it Put Me in a Slump

First 5 star read of the year! Probably one of my favorite Rina Kent books now.

Worth the wait!

I’ve been craving this book ever since Niko asked Gareth if he’s ever liked a man and Gareth said “just one man” and it was everything I could have wanted!

4 ⭐️ story 4.5 ⭐️ audio

Listening to this gave me Déjà Vu . There are way too many similarities to GOF. The main plot points are almost identical to GOF as is many of the ‘one liners’ & banter are the same.I still enjoyed listened because everything Rina writes is amazing. I did not like the narration of Killian in this one, as it didn’t fit his personality. The addition of Corvin King as Kane was deliciously good.

An auditory masterpiece!!

Ahh listening to this audiobook was a whole experience! I read the physical book first then went back and listened to the audiobook and it literally made me enjoy it even more! Having a full cast was such a good move and I loved having Niko and Bran’s narrators reprise their roles throughout. Stephen Dexter and Grayson Owens did a phenomenal job voicing Gareth and Kayden. It was just so fun to listen to!!

Cheesy Good Fun

First couple chapters were good. Killian isn’t my favorite from the Legacy of Gods series, so I wasn’t sure if I would be a big fan of Gareth either. Now that I’ve completed the audiobook I still feel kinda meh about him. I thought the narrators did a great job, but I felt like the story was missing that spark or charm that some of the other books had. Maybe I’m just not a fan of the professor/student trope? I really wanted to love this as much a God of Fury, but in the end this book was just…okay. Overall, I still had a good time. If you are looking for a MM romance that is a cheesy (but dark) good time, then this is the book for you. But I’m still holding out hope for book two with Vaughn and Yulian.

Everything she writes I fall in love with

I’m OBSESSED with Gareth & Kayden! I loved the tension and the angst between them. It gave me God of Fury vibes while still being unique in their personalities and I was consumed.

The audio was fantastic as per usual with any of Rina Kent’s audiobooks. The narrators were expertly casted & the performances had me enthralled. There was so much emotion that could be heard through their voices.

I will read anything Rina Kent writes and this was just another 5 star read in her world for me. I can’t wait for all the ones to come and the breadcrumbs left behind have me famished

Full Cast Perfection

ITS A TENNNN!! 10/10 - full cast was the right move for Kill the Villain. Absolutely loved the story and can’t imagine if I didn’t listen on audio.

Perfect Storm

This book is a Rina masterpiece.! Dark Romance, stalker vibes and an HEA. The narration was a chef’s kiss! Loved getting a little bit of Niko & Bran especially. Spice is 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️. This has become one of my top M/M romance reads!

Legacy of Gods was epic and I am so happy Rina created this spin-off. I FREAKING LOOOVE THEM💚💚💚I'm obsessed with these too. This was epic, I cant stop thinking about this book. stayed up to finish it, couldnt stop for a minite.
