Closure

I was sort of dreading listening to this because I knew it was going to be so sad, but I'm glad I did. Lee Daniels and Joe Arden do a great job with such a hard topic, and I'm glad after all those years the now grown-up Caroline could get her closure. Under Your Scars is such a beautifully tragic story of love, loss, and redemption. Ariel's writing really tugs at your heart. Did I cry? Yes. Was it worth it? Yes!

the closure I didn't know I needed

To keep it short and sweet, this book gave such a beautiful twist ending to what happened that dreadful night. To know she was and still is deeply loved is beyond words. 😭🖤💀

Relatable

Will make you cry, but so relatable if youve ever experienced the same typeof trauma.

Interesting Epilogue to the story

I wasn’t sure if I wanted to spend an hour listening to an additional epilogue but my interest was peaked. I’m a little agitated by what happened over her 17 years but it’s such like real life that I couldn’t find fault in it.

Scarred No More

I enjoyed this story more than Under Your Scars. Lee Daniels and Joe Arden continued with their amazing performance.

Do not listen out of order.
This somewhat soothes the ache left by the first book, but not by much.
I liked it though and would recommend it.
