It kind of through me off once I started listening to the audio. First off, thank you for the voice actors. They were really good :). Secondly, when this book came out I could not put it down so I already loved it. When I say it kind of through me off, I meant that 1) I wasn’t expecting Jackson’s voice to be so hoarse. But no hate to the voice actor! 2) TOTALLY MY OPINION - it would’ve been better if the female voice actor was heard when it was Blair’s lines during Jackson’s chapters and vice versa. Other than that, I totally forgot how this book gave me the chills. I still love it!

There was no trigger warnings that I could find before purchasing this title, so I walked into this one blind. I don't mind about dominance and submission in books with sexual content but humiliation, even as vanilla as it is in this book, makes me feel uncomfortable.

Now with that said, the story line is not bad, I found it original.

In regards to the performance, I did not like the fact that, despite having a female and male voice actors, when you are listening to the POV of one of the characters, the same actor is the one reading the dialogs belonging to the character of the opposite sex, so when the guy actor was reading the dialogs of the girl he sounded like he was mocking/imitating a gay guy lol I was a bit thrown off by that. There are some other things that I didn't like about the book but I guess these are the main ones.

I'm going to start this off by saying something nice so that I don't feel bad for all of the bad things I have to say about this book.

I enjoyed the banter and snarkiness of the female characters. They were enjoyable, and I appreciate a headstrong female character.

mmm okay no I don't really like this book. He was an absolute ass hat of an MMC, and it just wasn't fun. I get that he was meant to be degrading, but he really was just being mean. He wasn't really scary or thrilling in any way. He was very rude and cocky and just ehh.. Like when a fuck boy thinks he's cooler than he really is.. that's the vibe the MMC gives off in this book, and the FMC is crunge for always calling him out but still letting him touch her!! girl, I get that you needed some new peen in your life, but babes.... You can do better. The whole ending was strange too, because what do you mean you want to keep her... You haven't mentioned wanting to keep her, not one time in the book. All you said was :one night might not be enough", but now that it's over, all of a sudden you really do like her and want to keep her forever, and all of a sudden have feelings for her..
