Luna K. Wicked
I wasn’t supposed to feel this way about him... the man dating my sister. But no matter how much I try to focus on other women, my mind keeps circling back to him. It started as unease, an itch I couldn’t scratch, a feeling that there was something off about him. Then it grew... an obsession I couldn’t control.
Secrets aren’t meant to come into the light, and monsters should stay under the bed. I thought I was smart enough to keep my distance, but with him, logic vanishes. There’s no sense—only madness.
The deeper I dig, the darker it gets. He’s not just a man with secrets...he’s something much worse. And I’ve made one fatal mistake...stepping into his world.
Now, it’s not just about uncovering the truth. It’s about surviving it.

It’s indisputable that Joe Arden plays “unhinged” exceptionally well. I don’t think anyone else could convey Ren’s psychotic nature the way he did. The subtle tone shifts, the inflection, the way he made the charm and terror coexist. There were moments I felt genuinely disturbed because he made me feel things toward the antagonist I did not want to feel. He was charming, terrifying, and disarming, even to the listener. He was absolutely phenomenal as Ren.
HOWEVER, I think this might be Corvin King’s best performance I’ve ever heard. He carried this story. It’s no secret, I’m a fan of both narrators, but the raw emotion Corvin brought to Byron was on another level. I felt Byron’s anger, self-loathing, strength, love, confusion…everything. Despite everything he’d been through, all he wanted was to protect his sister. And while it would’ve been easy for anyone else to be overshadowed in a performance opposite Joe, Corvin kept pace effortlessly. I didn’t just listen to this story. Because of their narrations, I felt it.
This book won’t be for everyone. It is dark, brutal, and emotionally heavy. But if you have the stomach for it, I cannot recommend it enough.
A wild ride

This isn’t a romance, not even close. It’s raw, unhinged, emotional, and disturbingly intimate in the best way. Getting lost in the inner workings of Ren’s mind was absolutely wild. The way Luna writes his obsession, his darkness, his twisted logic? Phenomenal. And Byron… god, I felt for him the entire time. Two broken souls tangled in something violent, messy, and addictive.
I need Volume 2 yesterday because there is no way I’m walking away from this story without seeing how their chaos unfolds.
And the narration? Absolute perfection.
The audio elevated EVERYTHING. Every emotion. Every unsettling moment. Every breath of tension. I was locked in from start to finish, needing to know what happened next even when it hurt.
Joe Arden as Ren was unsettlingly brilliant. He captured Ren’s obsession, his cold detachment, and those flickers of fractured emotion with this razor-sharp precision. Every line felt like slipping deeper into Ren’s spiraling psyche.
Corvin King as Byron brought so much vulnerability and raw emotion to the role. You felt Byron’s fear, confusion, hope, and heartbreak bleeding through every word. His performance grounded the horror in something painfully human.
Mia Moreno as Gabriela was the perfect finishing touch. She gave Gabriela a presence, soft but firm, intuitive but fierce, that added depth to the story exactly when it needed it.
Together, they didn’t just narrate the book - they performed it. This trio elevated Luna K. Wicked’s dark world to another level.
If you love depraved horror, morally black characters, and psychological tension that crawls under your skin - this one is a must.
Dark. Depraved. Erotic Horror!

🎧📚🎧 And for the amazing Audible listen, performed by Joe Arden, Corvin King, and Mia Moreno, who did an incredible job voicing these characters. Their portrayal of these characters was spot-on, each embodying their character completely, bringing out all aspects of their personality. Arden nails it as Ren, playing the psycho killer, raw and real, and very moving, and King did the same for Byron and was just as brilliant in the role. Moreno performed all the female roles and nailed each one, but her take on Gabriela and Ren’s wicked mom was perfection, and her talent truly shined in her performance. This cast delivered a breathtaking performance, an entertaining performance that keeps you hooked and takes the story to another level.
