All that Tacca GloomLily ever wanted to be since she was very little was a fairy assistant to a Dungeon Core. This barren region is a far cry from the lush forest she had just left, as there is nothing living amongst the endless sand dunes that sweep across the landscape.

After barely surviving an attack by an Adversarial entity, Thaden helps pick up the pieces of the Guild he’d previously joined. Unfortunately, the outlook for Guilded Glory is bleak, as many important Contenders were lost during the unexpected attack, leaving the future of the Guild uncertain at this point in time. Of course, helping to run a Guild was never Thaden’s responsibility, nor did he really want a leadership position when he joined in the first place.

Experience Sandra’s story leading up to the exciting conclusion! Sandra has a big problem, one of which she isn’t quite sure how to handle. After destroying a few too many local dungeon cores, those cores within a certain radius are experiencing enhancements to their development. This means that they are not only dangerous to her core, as the instigator of these enhancements, but to the local population as well.

After the frightening experience involved in closing the northwestern Calamity and rescuing his friend, Larek and his companions discover that not everyone is happy about what they accomplished. Forces behind the scenes have made life difficult for the “conquering heroes”, so much so that they are forced to quickly flee the area while they continue their search for Norde. Unfortunately, once they arrive near the southeastern Calamity where Nedira’s younger brother is supposed to be, they encounter a situation that could lead to the downfall of the region, the Kingdom, and even the world.

After traveling across the entirety of the Sealance Empire and the deserts of Lowenthal, Larek has returned home to the Kingdom of Androthe to find that the situation is quite different from what he remembered. Not only are there massive Apertures called Calamities consuming large portions of the landscape, but most of his friends are also scattered to locations unknown around the Kingdom. Worse yet, they have no idea who he is because of the Dominion magic used on them before he was transported to the Empire.
