Expansion of the story
So so good! Amazing even! Performance not as good as the first but more characters introduced gotta get a feel for them so the 4/5 but everything else on point can’t wait for the next one!

Are secrets safe?
Larek has had quite an adventure so far. He has gone to a new school, which seems to be working out better for him. I love the skirmish and how he helped his team. I was not a great fan of how he dealt with the people who kidnapped him, but it was an effective way to go about it. I look forward to reading what happens to Larek in book 3.

works for me
Glad to see some growth, and happy the mc sounds a bit less slow in the head. Really hoping he sounds better as his speaking skill rises. Overall a good continuation and look forward to watching his future growth.
P.S. He does not get a giant fur baby. I know the cover gives some hope but no.

Wonderful!
Can’t wait for the next book! Wonderful addition. The story and crafting system are being fleshed out nicely. I’m so glad that at least some of the problems the protagonist was running into are being fixed, though there is always another pooping up lol. Getting some answers about what makes him different too, though not everything is answered. Can’t wait for the whole backstory of the big reveal in this book. All around great book as always!

Lareks journey continues
I am thoroughly enjoying the continuing story of Lareks growth and exploration of fusions and the world at large. it is fun and miles narrates it perfectly
