Aaron Menikoff earned his PhD at Southern Seminary where he wrote on the church and social reform in nineteenth-century America. He is the senior pastor of Mount Vernon Baptist Church in Atlanta, GA, where he has ministered since 2008. He is the author of Character Matters and Politics and Piety. He serves as the adjunct professor of church history at Reformed Theological Seminary, Atlanta, and is a founding board member of the Association of Churches for Missions and Evangelism. Aaron is married to Deana and has four children: Rachel, Jonah, Natalie, and Tori. Prior to entering pastoral ministry, he worked in DC as a legislative assistant for United States Senator Mark O. Hatfield.
