My Thoughts on Wanted: A Mommy for Christmas
This was such a cute holiday romance. What started as a well intentioned letter from a little girl to find love for her daddy and a mommy for herself led to misunderstandings, mishaps, and mayhem. But it also lead to a slow burn romance that ended my favorite way.
The narrator for this story Rebecca Ehrenpreis was new to me but I really liked her. She had a fun energetic tone that I thought was well suited for this Winter Cheer elf character. There were also a lot of side characters in the story and I thought she did really well with giving them all their own tone.
Overall this was a good listen and one I would recommend to holiday romance fans.

Good
Overall, I thought the story and narration were good. I normally don't listen/read love stories. I liked that it had a happy ending for everyone. I took one star off for the weird sex scene. I thought it was a bit unnecessary because some things can just be implied. Random but I didnt think the cover art went with the story. The story seemed somewhat animated because of the narrator's voice. Just my opinion.

So very close...
After getting over the SHOCK of this being set where I live... Fayetteville, NC, I was able to focus. AT least for awhile. Laughing is a bit distracting. I really enjoyed the tale and smooth humor of the Winter Elf. I could actually see it playing as a movie in my mind. I did not hit any disappointment until around 14 minutes from the end. The crude sex scene was so unneeded. It completely disrupted the flow for me. I had to make myself finish the last 12 minutes. I am sure others probably will not care, but it was just too good a story to fall back on, in my opinion, a cheap shot.

Good Book.
I enjoyed the story but felt like it was a bit rushed in places. It all happened very fast the book seemed short. I like the idea of the story,hadn't heard or read one like it before. Missing a star as I just wanted more in the build up of the story.

Christmas in July
This is such a fun, quirky listen! I love Christmas stories, and when they stem from single parent stories, all the better. Stemming from the letter of a child wanting to have a wife for her daddy for Christmas, this leads to Krissy the elf coming to help out. And from there, we have cookies, and presents and fundraisers and cheer. There are laughs and misunderstandings and magic. It's a blast from start to finish. If you want a feel good story, this one is it.
Rebecca Ehrenpreis uses her talents to bring this all to life. She has a huge cast of characters and masterfully gives each one their own voice. She does a remarkable job and made for an entertaining listen.

A Christmas Story For Every Season 🎄
You can't help but fall in love with this book, "Wanted: Mommy for Christmas" by Loretta Johns. I listened to it twice before I could write my review. It is just so ADORABLE and something even an adult could be found dreaming for. It was very CRAFTILY made, SKILLFULLY WRITTEN, had GREAT EMOTIONS, PASSION; what everyone Hopes & Dreams for, especially at Christmastime.
I also had a laugh or two throughout the chapters because Ms. Johns bought that to the book too. There definitely was a H-E-A, which every novel in my world should have one.
This's the 1st time I'm hearing Rebecca Ehrenpreis narrate, and I Love her! Her vocal range is BEAUTIFUL and WIDE. I never grew tired of listening to her, looking forward to listening to her in future books. Rebecca you deserve 5-⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐s
I recommend this novel to others who enjoy Holiday novels, you will fall in love with this one!!!
