She got me up and running

I was just going to listen to see how the audio sounds. Before I knew it I was following her instructions and started to train on the treadmill. It is like having your own personal trainer. I am enjoying this audio training guide.

Best Fitness Coach EVER!!!

I wanna say a HUGE thank-you to coach Jamie for making me actually ENJOY jogging/running! She sounds so friendly and encouraging that it feels like she's my actual friend haha I LOVE HER! I have a weak heart and had struggled with cardio workouts since I was little, but it worsened as a I grew older and landed office jobs that made me sedentary. I never would have imagined running (or for me, jogging lol) a mile in my life, but I FREAKIN DID IT AT THE END OF THIS PROGRAM! How was that possible lol it's all thanks to Coach Jamie. I'll forever keep this and repeat the program as much as I can ♡

Friendly, motivating + good info

Helping me get back into jogging with relaxed, positive encouragement along with helpful tips on form that have reduced my knee pain. Really like the “word” to focus on for each workout (move, energy, happy, etc), and the music. I don’t own a treadmill so I just do outdoor jogs for those routines.

I had no issue w music change or too loud?

I’m 58 , haven’t ran since I was 20! I’m also 60 lbs overweight! I absolutely loved this 1st episode! My heart ate got up to 108!! Never done that in a walk before! I listened to my body and did stop after first 30 sec bc my hip felt odd- I love this narrator/trainer! Jamie(?) is very inspiring - kept me working and focused on my goal! To be normal size again I 9 months! I can’t believe I got this free😂it will be my first step in change ! I’m excited to update this too!! I can hear what ppl say about music changes and volume but w my AirPods I had no issues hearing her voice and coaching! The rest was background noise to me - but the pulse helped a lot to keep my pace up! I think that’s why it changed so much ?

My most energetic morning

Walk to run a mile narrated by Jaime gave me the most energetic morning in years. I learned good basic of walking and a taste of good jogging. I recommend it to everyone, especially those who are afraid of starting a good exercise. Enjoy :)

Not bad; not great

I grabbed this title because i was going COVID stir crazy and more sedentary that i wanted to be. I’m in my mid 50s and not in great shape, but I felt myself declining even further due to COVID closures, etc. This looked like a good way for me to get things back in gear and start moving again...and as it is said to take 21 iterations to form a habit, the number of lessons was almost perfect. POSITIVES: (1) I like the muscle confusion approach with allowed for a balanced approach to things and kept me from over-indexing on just one part of the workout. (2) The iterations were reasonable and allowed me to advance without killing myself. When things began to ramp beyond my immediate ability, I repeated lessons and iterations until my capability caught up. (3). The program is mostly equipment-less. Only a treadmill is needed (and if you don’t have one [like i don’t] you can convert the treadmill workout to outdoor ones relatively easily). (4) Just because it was mentioned in other reviews I wanna comment that I had no issues re: the soundtrack and the narration with the exception of a few specific (and short) instances. Volumes were fine throughout. Note that I used both AirPods Pro’s and Trekz Titanium Aftershocks through my iPhone for sound. NEGATIVES: (1) The narrator was often not clear when exercises were to start as transitions occurred. Was she describing the event and encouraging or telling me to get moving? Hard to tell. (2) There were places where her descriptions assumed certain knowledge. I’ve never done yoga, so telling me to get into a child’s pose wasn’t very helpful. (3) The stretching chapters felt rushed and ineffective. The narrator did not describe the stretches well or where we should feel the stretches...and by the time understanding was achieved, we were moving to the next stretch. This, by far, is my biggest negative; given my age, good stretching is key to me staying active. In the end I had to go to another program to ensure that my stretching days were effective. RESULTS/CONCLUSIONS: I did, indeed run a mile and am back in the habit of working out daily so in that respect I got out of the program what I wanted. if you understand the limitations above and compensate for them accordingly, it’s a great way to get moving again and (re)start health habits

Music made my flesh crawl

Somewhere in America there is a workout video producer who thinks this sound track is exactly what people want to listen to when taking up running. He /she probably chose the cover too. This person was probably a fan of CSI Las Vegas. If your aspiration is to feature as the murdered runner in an episode. This is your ticket.

Effective

I understand the reviews complaining about the music being distracting. I however always have music playing and am able to hear the talking and focus on it over the music. I enjoyed the program and it worked for me!

It won’t download

It will not allow me to download it, nor will it allow me to remove it from my device. I’m very disappointed because I think this would be GREAT- if I could access it
