Publisher's Summary

Benjamin Bennett leads a lifestyle that many could only dream of. He's a star quarterback, well educated, and he knows how to get what he wants. But what he stays clear from is love because his ambition and goals don't align with it.

Riana is sassy and all about herself. Her world consists of her career as a musician and she doesn't see anything outside of it. Though her intentions are good, she battles issues from the past that hinders her from truly moving forward in life, especially in the love department.

Benji and Riana think they have things figured out until heartbreak shatters each of them leaving no choice but to rebuild themselves. But will they rebuild together?

One important thing they learn is no matter how much money you have or how many people wish for your life, some things can't be avoided.

Is it possible for them to move forward in a relationship or is it best to focus on themselves? Are the circumstances they're being forced to confront too overwhelming to work through? Most importantly, will Benji and Riana be able to fight against an unjust love?

WELL

THIS WAS CUTE. I WAS A LITTLE CONCERNED AT FIRST BECAUSE OF HOW THE STORY LINE WAS STARTING OUT. TOOK A MINUTE TO SEE THAT IT WAS THE OUTLOOK FROM RI RI'S POINT OF VIEW AS WELL AS BENJIS. I ONLY WISH THAT IT WOULD HAVE BEEN LONGER WITHIN THE CHAPTERS TO GIVE MORE OF THE STORY BEING THAT THEY DECIDED TO BECOME A COUPLE AND ALL THE THINGS THAT THEY DEALT WITH, WITHOUT EVEN KNOWING THAT IT WAS HAPPENING . SEEMS LIKE THE AUTHOR WOULD HAVE USED RI RI'S POINT OF VIEW BUT WOULD HAVE WENT FROM HER AND BENJI SITUATION FROM THE FIRST BOOK AND USING THAT INFO TO MOVE FORWARD WITH THE SECOND BOOK, HOPE THAT THERE IS ANOTHER ONE IN THE MAKING WOULD LOVE TO SEE ALL THE BROTHERS MOVE IN THE DIRECTION OF SHAWN. LOVING LIFE AND LIVING IT UP

Not For Me

When I listened to book 1 last year I told myself to just consider it a lesson Iearned and cut my losses. But nooooo, wanting to listen to another book narrated by the Dynamic Duo, Jakobi and Wesleigh, I let my guard down and went back to what I knew better than to do- which was listen to book 2 in this series. This book was literally all over the place with multiple plots that didn't end in anything- just random stuff mentioned and then moved past. The characters were still as childish as they were in book 1. And the undefined lane of erotica and Christianity was confusing. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love Jesus and sex like the next, but the sex, cuss, pray then repeat trend that was all throughout this book is not what's hot and needed to stop. Also, while I have grown to really love Wesleigh's narration, this must have been one of her first series because her cadence was off and that overly EXTRA accent for the female leade character was irksome. Jakobi did his thing as per usual though. Bottom line, this authors work just isn't for me and I will not be moving on to book 3.

Love Benji & Ri

This is my second time listening to this and it awesome every time. it wasn't easy but they got it together. The narration was superb who doesn't love Jakobi Diem's voice and Wesleigh is quickly becoming another favorite of mine. Well done.

Oh, Benji! Swoon!

Benji and Riana have been friends since they were teenagers. Benji is a star pro quarterback, and Riana a worldwide singer. Both have every material thing they could want, but both have issues with monogamy. As they get closer, it scares them to be vulnerable. Between the ups and downs, there is so much heat between these two.

I love the catchup with those we met in Fearless Love, and the new characters. Some of them are a hoot, some are trifling, but they’re all memorable.

I am really enjoying this series. Jakobi Diem and Wesleigh Siobhan do such a great job with the narration.

Road Work

I loved this installment of the Bennett series! Benji and Riana had MAJOR chemistry, but they also had major problems. Donnia Marie wasn’t afraid to dig deeper and have them work on their issues in real time for themselves and each other.

Jakobi and Wesleigh delivered fantastic vocals as always, making me gasp, laugh out loud, and root for the characters.

Awesome book

This book was great example of forgiveness and love. It gives you up and downs,, but shows you that communication and trust is key in any relationship.
