As Christians, we believe that all sins are considered equal in God's eyes. Yet while evangelicals continue to decry the Big Ones--such as abortion, adultery, and violence--we often overlook more deceptive sins. It seems we have created a sliding scale where gossip, jealousy, and selfishness comfortably exist within the church. In short, some sins have simply become acceptable.

A call to break the chains of individualism
I appreciated the book's call to return to the type of Community Jesus showed. In these times of division and fear, there is a desperate need for us to be the Church and to live our lives as Jesus' witnesses and followers of The Way.

I highly recommend this for any Christian
I found this to be a well written, biblically sound, and concise description of what the Church should be and at its best, is. Clear and powerful and backed up with appropriate scripture, this little book describes the essence of true community. We belong to each other.
