Great Read

Thrill of the Chase (The Parker Sisters #1) was a great read by Lorhainne Eckhart. Taz Parker is the towns EMT, and is strong and dependable. Everything about her job terrifies her. She lives in a small Wyoming town and has five sisters and an overprotective father. One rainy night she's transporting a patient to the next town when she stumbles on an accident. Jerry O'Rourke is only passing through town when he witnesses a roadside accident. When Taz stops to help, he realizes that he encounters a woman he is unable to resist. He quickly realizes that her strong ties to her family could make it more difficult to get close to her. I enjoyed reading this book and cant wait to read more by the author.

when insecurity makes you gullible.

When starting a new relationship it's foolish to move too fast. in this story the characters didn't take time to get to know each other. Now they need to back up and start again.

Surprised!

As I started this book, and subsequently listened to the audio book, I thought about how an almost 30 year old woman could stand having her parents treat her like she was 16?

This was a fast paced book. Taz met Jerry, and it was basically Insta love. I liked Taz, but I really thought she would have more backbone. Jerry was wrong for not sharing his past. I could not stand Jen. I would like for once in a book, when a man was in a situation like Jerry was with Jen, that he toss her and her clothes out into the hall or out the front door.

After the way Taz's parents behaved at the beginning of the book, her father really surprised me with his response to the situation. Also, the way Taz behaved, she did act more like a teenager than a grown woman.

Jerry and Taz resolved their issues so that they could move on to their HEA. I did expect more depth of characters, a longer relationship, more detail about their lives, and something about her EMT situation both at home and in Denver. This was a sweet, kind of light read/listen. The narration was ok.

Excellent read

Taz and Jerry were incredible. Their chemistry off-the-charts and the family relations make for a great story. I want to read the rest of the series.

The Thrill of the Chase a strong family story.

I really enjoy reading and listening to Lorhainne Eckhart books. I just finished listening to "Thrill of the Chase" which I received a copy of for an honest review. I happen to own the boxed set of the Parker Sisters and I hadn't started reading this ebook boxed set yet, so I very much enjoyed the audible version of the first book in the Parker family series and I loved the voice of Mary Jane Conlon so much that I now wish I had the opportunity to listen to the entire boxed set being read by her. However since that isn't available at this time I will just have to jump right in and start reading book 2 of this very interesting Parker family. It makes me wish I had come from a large tight knit family where the wise and loving mother is the glue holding this family unit together and the father is a strong, honest, and honorable man living to raise and protect his six daughters. I could go on and on about this family dynamic but that would just rob you of finding out just how enjoyable this Parker family promises to be.

I bought the ebook back in September but it is so nice to listen to the story as I follow along on my ebook. This is the first book in the Parker Sisters series. If you want a good story to listen to I would say this is one.

I enjoyed the story but struggled with the narration. The narrator fell flat more often than not.

A nice read.

An easy and not to long a read.
Taz has five sisters and amazing parents. Her dad have no hesitation to confront any man that show interest in his girls.

Taz a Jerry met and their relationship developed quickly. Jerry had to deal with her protective dad but since he is an awesome man, all went well.
It is a sweet romantic story and I enjoyed it.
I forward to reading the next book.

A good romantic story

A good story. I enjoyed all of it but would have liked it to have continued for longer to see the development of the characters. Maybe more insight will continue in the next books. I recommend this as a romantic story.

Meh

I enjoyed the storyline. It was sweet, easy to read, and quite wholesome. The narration was, however, not fantastic. It was quite monotonous and lacked emotion.

Thrill of the Chase!

Lorhainne Eckhart wrote a compelling listen in Thrill of the Chase. I loved the relationship of Taz and Jerry. The imagery was vibrant, storyline was well done, and the characters endearing. The chemistry between characters was awesome. The narration by Mary Jane Conlon was fitting. She brought the characters to life.

Pleasantly surprised

This was my first audio and am please to say that what took me so long.

The narration of the story took me to a place where by I could imagine and picture all the scenarios. Loved the different voices and the expressions in the voice.
