SO GOOD

This audiobook was so frickin good. I listened to it all in one day. The narrator was perfect. The story was full of emotion. 5 amazing stars!!

Beautiful Story!

Coming Home is the first book in the Whiskey River Road Series. This is a great second chance to love. I love the characters! Boone and Clem are great together. Boone is handsome! Clem is beautiful and strong. The supporting characters are great and intriguing. The Calhoun family is wonderful. The storyline is emotional, fun, and has a little intrigue, mystery and action. Sera Sharr is a new narrator to me. She did a great job with the narration. Looking forward to listen to the next book in the Series, Stolen Hearts.

Great Read

Coming Home (Whiskey River Road, #1) was another great read by Kelly Moore. Clem wasn't ready to marry Boone all those years ago. She always loved Boone but knew that something was stopping her from walking down the aisle. Clem felt like she needed to do something away from the family ranch. Seven years after leaving the ranch, she comes home and isn't prepared for what she finds back home. I really enjoyed Cleam and Boone's story and can't wait to read more in this series. Sera Sharr did a great job of narrating the characters.

Love second chance stories!

I feel in love with this story, right from the start. Clem has such a fancy vocabulary, it keeps you wondering what she's going to come up with next! I love the plot, the characters - good and bad, and how family is family-no matter what.
I have to say something about the narrator, she rocked this story!!! This was my first listen by her and I really enjoyed her different voices.
I'm excited to listen to Bear's story, as I'm sure it will be just as good as Clem's.
Be sure to listen, this story is def worth a credit!!

Second Chance Romance with Great Chemistry

This author is a fairly new to me author and this is only the second book I have read of hers. I overall really enjoy her writing style and loved the first story I read of hers, so I jumped at the chance to read Coming Home. I was sucked into the story line at the beginning with Clem leaving Boone at the alter, and learned quickly on that this would probably be a second chance love story, which is honestly one of my favorites.

I absolutely loved Boone. He was a standup kind of guy who obviously loved the Calhoun's and Clem very much and went to great measures to protect them all. I even really liked Clem for the most part. I feel like she took responsibility for hurting those she loved in the past. I feel like she was protective of her family and of Boone. I think Clem and Boone had some serious chemistry and I was rooting for them from the beginning.

I really liked some of the drama/mystery/suspense aspect of the book, but at times I felt like it was too much. I felt like at times there was just way too much going on and that it maybe took away from the story somewhat. Almost like trying to cram too much into one story. But, maybe I am in the minority on that. I am still interested to see where the next story in the series leads and did overall enjoy the story.

This was my first listen by Sera Sharr and I overall enjoyed the book, but I do think at times some of the voices of different characters blended into each other, or male characters sounded too feminine, but I would definitely be interested in listening to more of her work. #AudiobookObsessionReviewer

What a great book!

Kelly Moore has started the story of a family who was not whole. The daughter who ran from her wedding, leaving the man she loved at the alter, comes home. Her homecoming causes ripples in the family. Her dad is angry, her ex is angry, her oldest brother is angry... and her mother, other brother and sister are glad she’s home.

There is a whole lot of drama that happens in this book! And there’s a whole lot of repair that happens in the family. It’s a wonderful story with some sad moments and some moments that are stressful.. which makes for an awesome reading experience. You will love this.

Sera Shar is so easy to listen to! Her voice is pleasant and her characters easily read for who they are.

Family is family.

This is a book about family dynamics and expectations, about the family we are born to & the ones we choose. It’s a love story that includes all the lives we have and the baggage we carry from generations past.
It’s beautifully written and manages to tell the story of a couple who have a lot of things from their past to work through while it also weaves in the stories of those around them. Just like life off the page, there are loyalty and trust issues even while we love.
The narrator does a fantastic job of bringing the story to life and telling us this first glimpse at a family that loves fiercely as they win and loose.
I’m really excited to move on to the next installment.

Coming Home was Outstanding!!!

I was pulled in from the beginning. The characters came alive in my head as I listened. It was like I was watching a movie. Job well done!

For honest review . Wow if your looking for a story that will having you turning the pages and not putting it down or listening to it till the very end this is your audible. . 10 stars when clem and her best friend Ethan go to her home town of Kentucky after 7 years away in the military and after running away from her wedding day from the love of her life. She is back to take back everything she lost but she going to have to fight for it and fix the trust she broken . I loved this story.

A wonderful start

A wonderful start to a series.. I loved the characters and the setting. The story flowed with ease and kept me listening and wanting more.
