Age gap done so well

Dex & Winnie are absolutely everything. The ultimate grumpy/sunshine story. I loved how her sisters picked on her for basically crushing on their dad, it made me chuckle.

Dex is the grumpy, ex Navy SEAL, firefighter single dad who just moved in next door. And he’s sexy to boot. How can a girl like Winnie resist that?

Winnie is the cute 22 year old who loves love, but finds herself in a bet to refrain from love after a bad break-up with someone not worthy. She’s on a man/dating hiatus.

Hallie & Luna stole the show with their early morning bash sessions on Dex. The blowing off Cheetos one had me close to tears laughing. And I love their relationship with Winnie.

Dex & Winnie find themselves in a very unique neighborly friendship when the girls bombard Winnie’s condo on move in day. Their relationship is easy, they just have this level of connection that is so natural. As these two figure out that they are mutually attracted to each other, their natural connection blossoms. As they’re both guarded, the wrong thing is often said, but it’s usually Dex who needs to apologize. He’s getting pretty good at it though.
These two were hot when together and they both just seemed to fit in each other’s lives despite the 12 year age gap.

Stephen Dexter as Dex was phenomenal. I love his witty portrayal of Hallie & Luna. Kirsten Leigh did an awesome job as Winnie. They both draw you in and make you feel like you are a part of the story.

One of my favorite romance novels!

This is one of my favorite romance novels, and the voice actors of this audiobook make it even more enjoyable! I highly recommend.

my first single dad romance

i loved the story! this was my first time dipping a toe in this genre and it was surprisingly awesome! loved the narrators!! they made a good team!

I loved the characters in this book! Some of the situations are HILARIOUS and laugh out loud funny. Well worth the credit!

A trip back to Cloverleigh Farms

Story/overall: Who knew we needed stories from the next generation of Cloverleigh Farms? I am so happy that Melanie Harlow wrote a story where we get to read about everyone from Cloverleigh. This story in particular is about Winnie and Dex. Their story mirrors a lot of Frannie and Mack (Winnie’s parents) that they themselves mention it. This story has lightness from the Hallie and Luna that will have you giggling. The chemistry from Winnie and Dex will have you fanning yourself. This has everything you enjoy about small town, single parent, age gap, and grumpy guy/sunshiny gal tropes. I cant wait to see who will be the next to get their story told.

Performance: Omg. I love Stephen Dexter. I have listened to a lot of audiobooks of him narrating. As soon as he said, “Chapter 1, Dex,” I was like omg and got chills. His voice is a bit lower and grittier in this book. Each time he opened up a chapter, i swooned. As much as I love his “happy go lucky voice,” this slightly grittier voice had me. Kirstin Leigh does such an incredible job as Winnie. Her voice is just the right amount of young and sass to portray Winnie.

Absolutely Amazing!!

I loved this book. It is my first from this author, but won't be the last. The story was very well written and it kept me on the edge of my seat. I couldnt stop listening because I wanted to hear about the HEA for Winnie and DeX, plus I have to find out what the heck the "thing" was that Winnie owed Ellie for losing the bet! LOL!

Highly recommend! 5 STARS!!

Loved it! It's definitely one of my favorites from this series. I'm in love with Dexter Matthews ❤️ Stephen Dexter did an amazing job with the voice of Dex!

Enjoyable Listen!Melanie Harlow does it again.It has been quite a while since I listened to one of her books.

Sooo happy that the first book in this new series begins with one of. Frannie’s daughters! Winnie falls in love with her grumpy neighbor. Dexter an ex navy seal now firefighter and 12 years her senior. Almost a replica of her parent love story. I laughed at Haley’s and Luna’s adorable antics! Dexter’s little girls. I’ll have to re listen to the First generation before I start the next one in this series. The narrators were great!

Cute Single Dad Romance

Loved this book! First by Melanie Harlow and it was a great small town romance.

Dex was a grumpy single dad and his daughters were adorable! Always love when kids say the darnedest things.

Audio was great and Stephen Dexter became a fave growly grumpy narrator.
