It takes more than great storytelling to be the right fit for each type of road trip. What works for a cross-country adventure may not be quite right for a quick day trip. What you listen to with your significant other may not be (read: is definitely not) the same as what you listen to with a carload of kids. And when driving solo, sometimes what you want is a little company. No matter what kind of journey you have coming up, we’ve got you covered.

Just great.

Encapsulates so much of what own can find in therapy - if you are open and bring a curious mind.

Disappointed :(

High hopes from other reviews going into this Audible suggested title. This is mostly a long winded surface level discussion of how the jungian shadow can make sense when combined with behaviorism. We are shaped through reinforcement and punishment, and through these same mechanisms we can reshape ourselves.

Nice but missing key parts

No case studies, no discussion on discipline. The book advocates to do what makes you feel good, but this can lead to a dark path if no moral compass is applied. Very focused on the feminine mind set.

Profoundly relatable, useful, heartwarming & true

A book I could not devour fast enough, when I reached the end the first time, I went back to the beginning.

It's that good.

My life story couldn't be any more different than Meadow's, and yet, the brilliance of her work transcends those differences and LOVINGLY highlights the junk drawer of my behaviors and relationships. I appreciate that this worthy work encourages the listener to expand and embrace - she teaches us to shine a light into the tight corners and then sit with what we find. Want to change it? Great! Want to befriend it? Perfection! No hard and fast anything, just an orientation to spots I had forgotten about and a kind way to reconsider each next step.

I love a book performed by the author, particularly when personal story is part of the prose, and Meadow does a great job.

So much value

I couldn’t stop listening! Like water to my thirsty soul. I’ve done a lot of shadow work so i didn’t expect this to give me new insights, but it did! So glad i found this book.

Complicated Brilliance

I love everything about this book. I will be recommending it. I chose it because I am currently going through an evolution in my life. I go to therapy twice a week and I’ve been peeling back the layers and even though the wound has become deeper,
I understand in order to heal, I have to address the wounds and then dress the wounds. Meadow thank you for your transparency and courage. I would love to have you on my podcast as a special guest. Its called Living Your Truth w/ Tavares. Thank you for this amazing read. Blessings to you and your family.
