Audio is the way to go for Atlas of the Heart!

The way Brené Brown narrates brings life. Her voice communicates - I far prefer her narration to reading her books. She made this an engaging book.

Atlas of the Heart covers emotions. For me, every minute of it evokes feelings. She eases the listener into an openness to others' true feelings, and this will improve the quality of one's life, I believe.

This should be required reading.

Brenè Brown gives folks a good launch point from which to navigate life as a human.

Illustrations?

She mentions making the book’s illustrations available withe the audiobook somehow. How can we see those?

I needed Brené…

I was gifted this book and love Brené Brown. Reading it to myself wasn’t working. I purchased the audiobook. Worth. Every. Penny. I needed Brené to tell me the story. To talk to me like I was sitting in a room with her; learning and absorbing all I can. Brilliantly read!

Excel book on learning the vocabulary of emotions.

Excellent book on learning the vocabulary of emotions. I also appreciate when someone can say, I've gotten some things wrong in the past, here's new evidence or ways of thinking about it.

a few good nuggets mixed in political agenda

she is wonderful as always, but a more liberal agenda surfaces throughout. I was slightly disappointed that she referred to highly politicized movements throughout this piece.
still love her though....

There were a many aha's while listening to the audio. I had to purchase the book to underline, highlight, and earmark the pages. Definitions are so important to help us grow, recognize, and return responses with maturity. Highly recommended.

Great Information, Great Audio

Loved the format on how she divided the emotions, explained them, shared personal narrative and then pulled it all together on how being able to name your emotions can help in your life. Def recommend!
