Publisher's Summary

A life-threatening accident reveals to Finn that he is a werewolf; the next morning, he receives an invitation to a secluded high school. Finn quickly realizes that the school is in fact an academy for monsters that is far more perilous and full of adventure than he ever expected.

But Haunted High has had a dangerous history with werewolves. Can Finn survive monster politics, life-threatening pranks, and teachers more likely to kill him than help him in time to answer the real question: Who is the girl haunting the cemetery, and why does he sleepwalk to her grave each night?

Can't wait to listen to the next one!

So good! I was skeptical about another supernatural high school story, but this was great. The ending wrapped up pretty fast, but I know it's probably rolling right on into book 2. Loved the narrator, he does a really good job doing all the characters without it being cheesy. Love it!

A fun, exciting nonstop page turner with no filler

The characters, lovable, believeable, not a cookie cutter or copy cat story! At first i was worried it may be a knockoff of something that heavily barrowed elements. Nope not at all! Best one I've read this year... er excuse me, "listened to". Very good story, even a bit feel good at times. All of which lends to crafting a wonderful and truly stupendously enriched story. Quite the masterpiece i must say even if the end of the book comes abruptly. But i cant complain its a series! (Thankfully!) I can't wait for #3-5 to be on audible. I hate pacing myself when a story is this good! <3

Hauntingly Great Start of Series

The Wolf Within Me is a fast paced story that had me captivated from start to finish. The story follows Finn as he learns to come to terms with who he is and his new school. The story is filled with great characters and paranormal creatures. The narrator does a fantastic job of bringing the story and characters to life. I look forward to more in this series and from this author.

liked the story

I really liked the story. I f I'd read it again I rate it 4, but next time I'd rather read it myself. I didn't get the emotion of the story from the narration. The sad parts didn't feel as said through the narration neither did the humor. The one thing I didn't like was the head mistress allowed him to be beat badly and in the end she ended up making him feel bad. I wish she had shown more sympathy before she made it about her. Other than that it kept me interested.

My son and I liked it a lot

I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

This was actually pretty good. I say that because it is clearly geared towards a young audience. I picked it up to listen with my son (who is 11). Turns out, I enjoyed it as much as he did and I'll definitely pick the boxed set to finish the series with him. The narration, by the way, is quite good.
