Publisher's Summary

She's watching you, but who's watching her?

Lily Gullick lives with her husband, Aiden, in a brand-new apartment opposite a building that has been marked for demolition. A keen bird-watcher, she can't help spying on her neighbors.

Until one day Lily sees something suspicious through her binoculars, and soon her elderly neighbor, Jean, is found dead. Lily, intrigued by the social divide in her local area as it becomes increasingly gentrified, knows that she has to act. But her interference is not going unnoticed, and as she starts to get close to the truth, her own life comes under threat.

But can Lily really trust everything she sees?

Catherine Steadman for the win! Again!

A great thriller made all the more great by the narrator, Catherine Steadman. I’d probably listen to anything she narrates, she’s that good. This was hard to “put down.”

Worth getting through the slow part.

The story was worth flagging through the slow part at the beginning. Despite this it kept me interested. I'll look for another book written by him. But no one can beat Catherine Stedman narration. It makes every story she narrates come alive.

Great story with a Great finish!!!

There are some slow parts, but it's all done to build the realism of the situation. I broke from the story longer than I had others and was worried about being disappointed; I encourage anyone reading this book to get on with it because the last quarter of the book brings it all together nicely, without giving it away, the author is enveloping you in the necessary mindset to truly appreciate what is happening to the main character and it then becomes so so clear.

Very Good Suspense Novel

The suspense builds until it's conclusion. Solid story that comes together. Not too long or yoo short in length. Enjoyable.
