This book doesn't claim to be revolutionary, it doesn't claim to have a magic fix that will suddenly and instantaneously change your life for the better and make all of your weight loss goals become a reality (Again, in all but the final chapter at least). This start of the book explains, at its core, that while weight loss isn't EASY it is SIMPLE. It provides straightforward tools to implement habits and behaviors that can help you instill incremental change in your life that will ultimately lead to a healthier lifestyle and ultimately weight loss **regardless of the meal plan/diet approach you choose to get there**. All of which is packaged in a sustainable and realistic approach that enables long term success and helps to break the fad diet "crash and binge" cycle. While I would have liked more detail on some of the sections, the information provided is mostly backed by scientific evidence and provides a great overview of the main aspects of motivation, will power, habit forming, sustainability, and more.
The first chapters of this book wont change your life, but they'll give you the fundamental knowledge and functional tools you need to change it for yourself.
The last chapter... Well - if you're interested in Keto, it's a comprehensive guide to starting and maintaining a keto diet. Personally, I was hoping for something more than that from this book given the strong opening.

The narrator, Lydia Joy tate spoke very clearly. She was easy to follow. There were a few places where the audio had some issues but otherwise it was good.
