Straightforward realistic guide to weight loss!

I was very impressed with this book, and I praise John for his straightforward and critical thinking in mastering the fundamental method for long-term, healthy, and sustainable weight loss. I myself am a personal trainer and was looking to find a book that promotes achieving weight loss with self-belief, as I strongly agree with the concept. As with clients I have had, I can sense before they ever start that they don't have the belief. This is where I will recommend this book to them, as I know it will open their minds and help them achieve long-term success.

I would also like to compliment John on his nutrition knowledge and methods to help stabilize hunger with a healthy diet and the promotion of whole foods. Alongside this point, he has also done very well explaining that we are only human, and will induge from time to time, and that's ok! It's about long-term success, and he points out that being overly restrictive with diet and exercise will eventually lead to failure when motivation and willpower run out. I could say so much more, but I will strongly recommend listening to this book. If you struggle with your weight, it will be a lifesaver!

This is not what I was expecting, It was even better. Mindset is everything when it comes to losing weight. This book does a great job of helping you make better choices to get healthy based on getting your mind in the right place.

By going into the control room so to speak within your mind, you can successfully manage points of stress in your life, bolster your positive self-belief, and magnetize a healthy lifestyle that is both enjoyable and sustainable. This is one of the most useful and practical books I've run across on weight-loss, and I highly recommend it.

There are a lot of theories about weight loss and some of them get confusing. I feel like this book gets one key thing about the weight loss journey - if you don't overcome akrasia, you won't make it any far.
