An entertaining story but narrator disappointing

I enjoyed the story about some interesting family dynamics and the lives of two sisters-in-law, who were both second wives under different circumstances. However, the Audible narrator was very disappointing. The chapters alternated between the two different main characters, but not only did the same narrator read both parts, but there was nothing at all distinguishing in her voice between the two characters. It was often difficult to tell who was talking.

Absolutely loved this book! The characters, the story line - the twists! Love the way it was written - such detail you felt part of the family!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! The character development especially with the females was wonderful! Would make a terrific play or movie!

Life Silencing the wives

This was a page turner. All the wives were silent in one way or another with their own story. But when they eventually were able to stand together and able to trust one another the movement began. This was our bookclub read and it brought up many discussions.

Kerry Fisher has done it again with the silent wife. I’ve flown through four of her books this last week and have purchased the rest in anticipation of more great reads!

I loved the characters & the twists that occurred among the family members. A wonderful listen.
