Wonderful writing

Engaging. Gruesome. Real. Hooked from the start. Twists in the middle and wow in the end.

Took too long for Will Trent to show up

I love Will Trent stories with Angie and the other characters. It took too long for Will to show up, but once he did the story kept me interested. This is not at all like the TV series and I had to let that go. On TV, Angie is conflicted but not the evil and dark woman that she is in this reading. Karin really knows how to create suspense and keep me guessing. Overall, well worth the time invested.

MY NEW FAVORITE AUTHOR BY A MILE

There were so many times during this book that I stopped whatever I was doing with bated breath anxiously anticipating what was coming next… This author is a genius, and I absolutely love the way she writes! Character development, emotional roller coaster, depth of plot, twists and turns are infinitely worth more than the credit or money spent on this purchase. There’s no way anyone could be disappointed reading this book, and I will undoubtedly be reading/listening to every single one of her other books as well.

Overall plot

I enjoyed the descriptive writing, the multiple perspectives and the twist. The ending with Lydia was a little pat.

Slaughter never disappoints! I loved everything about it. It made me laugh and cry. I loved the twists!!
