Yes!!!!

I stumbled across this book on audible and decided to give it a try. I do enjoy historical romance so have some experience with the genre. This book was so well written and flowed so seamlessly that I’m going to buy everything she’s written and binge it like a tub of ice cream!!! The characters were well developed, there were good supporting characters as well. The plot was interesting with just the right amount of humor, athos, and pace. The dialogue was authentic and the plot was mostly believable which tends to be my sticking point for some of the historical romance novels. There was revenge and a happy ever after. The only thing that could have made this better would be a peek into how it went after (such as a epilogue because I’m a sucker for them) because I felt like there were still some loose ends to tie up. Otherwise, it was truly a gem of a book and I enjoyed the whole thing!!! The narration was done well for this audiobook. I was able to tell the male characters apart and I think that the narrator did well overall. I absolutely recommend buying this book!

Wonderful book

This was my first time reading a book by Anne Gracie and I can definitely say it won't be my last. Gideon, Lord Carradice, is my new book boyfriend. The plot kept moving. There were some fun twists. But the banter was *chef's kiss*. The narrator was very pleasing to listen to, and did a great job distinguishing between the characters, which couldn't have been easy with 5 sisters.

Very Likeable Leading Man

The main male love interest was a refreshing break from the brooding hero harboring dark secrets. There were even some laugh out loud moments.

This is not my favorite narrator. She stresses random words in sentences unnecessarily and it is a bit distracting, but not too bad overall.

Perfect start to a great series!

Very enjoyable from beginning to end with lots of excitement and tense moments. Was very hard to put down! Excellent narration from Heather Wilds too!
