Nailed It!!

This was an absolutely fantastic story, well written with love, humor, and some spicy bits! Perfect with Mary Jane Wells as the narrator who can make books even better!

A New Favorite Author

I just finished book 2 in this series and had to come back to flush out this review. While the plot seems predictable, it is still so enjoyable to follow this journey to the lovely cadence of Mary Jane Wells. This book and the next in the series are both added to my favorites collection.

Enchanting story

Great story would love to read a series about side characters like Lucy the sister or the Earl etc. The story is slightly different. First regency type story wherein the protagonist isn’t a blushing debutant. However the rest, the in disguise duke, the charming though crumbling inn, etc are fantastic. Loves the story.

Peaks early on sex but the story is fun and creative

I prefer slow burns but the fun of the story keeps it going. Great fun.

Great story

I liked discovering Gemma and Hal! This book kept me interested with the perfect amounts of love, hand-wringing, and steamy scenes!!! My only critique is sometimes the narrator dips her voice so low that I can't make out the words- even when my volume is up. I appreciate her expression, but I wish the amplification remained steady.
