Great translation, but could have been more user friendly.

I enjoy the passion translation, but because this narrative is only in chapters it’s not user friendly. If I’m in chapter 275 and I want to find Romans or wherever I want to start I have to know what chapter it is. If a person has a calculator and knows how many chapters are in each book that person can write where each book starts and write down in a notebook and keep the notebook on hand to see where he wants to go. Such a beautiful translation, but it was definitely not user friendly.

There are some differences between this and the kindle edition.

This performance was very well done with excellent narration and music. Some books have audio introductions and some don’t, but the overall quality is still delightful. I notice that the Kindle edition’s introductions are much more detailed. My only suggestion is that the

publisher accurately reflect this in the audible description, but overall an excellent performance. Brian is an excellent narrator. Also, not all of the book titles are named in the audio, but all Scripture is there. :)
The audible edition starts with Matthew, and the Kindle one starts with Psalms, but still great.

EXCELLENT/OUTSTANDING

The only thing I would change is to have the chapters labeled as the titles of each book of the bible. i.e. Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Psalms, Proverbs, not chapter 1, chapter 2.
Right now it's labeled as numbers so it's hard to navigate to where you want to go. This book isn't necessarily designed to read in order, but as God leads in your heart. That's difficult as it's designed right now. That is the only thing that I would change, as it's frustrating to navigate to where you want to go.

This is a beautiful translation.

This is a 5 star Masterpiece. Even before the updated version, with no chapter labels, it was wonderful. Now each book and chapter is conveniently labeled for us. Thank you for this translation, and thank you for the updated version.

Great translation, poor labeling

I love this translation and Brian Simmons is a great narrator.

The problem is labeling the books of the Bible as though it was a novel rather than a series of inter-connected books. When you see 470 chapters instead of the 27 individual books it is not only daunting, but it prevents reading a specific book out of order, like Ephesians. (Do I really need to do all that math to find what I want to read?)

Putting the book name along with the current chapter number would be very helpful.
