its so close, yet..

first..the description says there is a prequel story, there is not. it is only the 4 novels. second...the narration, while not the worst, is on the side of monotone and lackluster. and finally the story, world, and characters are there but there are flow problems with the outline. over all, its a good story worth digesting but with some execution issues

Good story

The concept is interesting and reasonable well written. The characters are likeable but unfortunately the narration is very bland which spoiled the story for me.
