If I want to live, I have to prove that I’m not the spy I’m accused of being. Then, I need to figure out how the f--k to get back home before all hell breaks loose. Too bad my animal has zero interest in working with me unless it has to do with the two hot assholes that lead this rebel group.

I’m on my own in a place I’ve never even heard of, with threats I don’t know how to defeat. And lucky me, I might as well have a rotisserie chicken living inside of me for all the help my newly discovered gryphon is.

Eh. not sure how I feel

I'm honestly struggling to decide whether to continue onto book 2. The way FMC is treated throughout the story is crappy. From a world building and character development standpoint I can understand since it gives her the ability to stand up for herself and show her personality but when its combined with her Griffin giving in all the time regardless how she's being treated, it become frustrating... mainly with the additional bad attitudes from the male MCs. What I stuggle with the most is she's treated extremely disrespectfully by the two main male love interests and there's not any point where they make up for it in this first book. She even has moments where she feels guilt and changes her attitude when theres literallyno reasonfor it besides her Griffin. It got really annoying. At this point there's almost too many bad feelings by the end of it compared to the good to push me to continue on. I enjoyed the FMCs personality and am intrigued in the way the story could develop but there just wasn't enough information and character development before the book was over it feels like it should have been longer, like it stopped before it was rounded out.

Super entertaining

The story is very entertaining and the narration is EXCELLENT!! The story is unique and I enjoyed it immensely. The main girl is stubborn and can curse like a sailor, which makes for some hilarious and interesting parts. There is also some romance and adventure. It is so good I listened to the audiobook in one go! Just note that this has a cliffhanger. I am excited to read the next book and will listen to it when the audiobook is available too.

Still debating if I like this.

The story is interesting but it keep making me roll my eyes at the story and FMC. She is not too bright and all she can do is drop F**k bombs all over the place. She finds out her true nature and that is possibly from another place. Instead of focusing on finding out information about the place, the people, culture, traditions, and herself she throwing F” bombs around and yelling to go home. Ok..but shouldn’t you know more about what you are and why your family keep your true form secret. The story is interesting. I am dragging my feet to book two. I say I will stick the series out.

So good stayed up all night & heard it in one sitn

This was a great book! I don't know why I hesitated for months before finally starting the series, and I'm officially hooked. It's witty, well written and I Love the attitude of the main character. She's funny, independent, and strong. I'm in for the whole series!🙌

Griffin Shifters? Who knew?

I enjoyed the book. I have really long boring commutes. If a book doesn't grab my interest, I am out of there. I was interested ftom the start. This book did have romantic moments. The author seems to imply a love triangle being setup for her second book in the series. I am not into reverse harem books, as I just end up thinking the characters are stupid to put up with it. The female lead seems to know what she wants and so does her Griffin which could make love very complicated. Interested in seeing what the next book brings.
