Good lord!

This one was another hit that I’m starting to believe that this series will be in my top ten and will forever be recommended for people that love swords and magic books!

Frustratingly addictive.

At this point, I am hooked on these books, but I am so frustrated with the main character never learning a lesson. He repeats the same bad decisions, book after book after book. He gets to a point where he could win and then he does something stupid and let his enemies go Only for them to return book at the book to make his life harder. And another crazy issue I find is the author lets everyone in the book become more powerful, especially if you’re evil, but the one main female character is always weak. And she always insists on going along in the adventure only to be the biggest liability. Every time she gets captured and everyone has to rescue her. It’s so annoying.

However, I do love, the power system, the abilities, the mystery behind these abilities, and how a few must overcome the evils of many. At this point, I’m in for the long-haul with these books, but I must say they are very frustrating at times.
