The power of a good antagonist

Wow. This series really gets you right in the feelz. When they bring up a reference to the first book being the fMC’s former suitors rearing their ugly head it makes for an amazing antagonist especially since he was so easily dislikable. The sheer scope of his arrogance and self entitlement was astounding to the point of hilarity. I suppose when one feels they have the power the power can corrupt.

the character and story development is so good. I can't say how amazing these books are. I'm so ready for the 4th book.

interesting characters, story that pulls you in I'm pretty cool fight sequences. I like it!

Good story, jarring audio

The story is entertaining. It's a little bit on the white knight side, but it doesn't detract too much.
My problem was the two narrators. I just can't get use to it. I like to listen to books on 2X, but the switching voices made it hard as the two different narrators are talking at different rates.
