It had a rough start but Definitely was worth the read.

So its definitely Buffy the vampire slayer gender bender but with another Buffy in the harem. We have a needy witch with self-esteem issues but not really. A cheerleader demon slayer who's kinda Sundare. A best friend who friend zoned him but then drives off all the girls. Older British mentored who has librarian vibs.

I literally read two trash books right before this so it was a breath of fresh air. Story and characters could be flushed out better but its still solid. The spice is mid and descriptions could be better
I bought book 2 right after so I'll see how it is.

Good, but not as elaborate or well put together as some of Aird’s other series.

Didn’t know I needed it

I like the author’s other works and each series has its own vibe. I did not expect a gender swapped Buffy the vampire slayer vibe with an added harem element. I loved every second of it.

Its alright

The main character has almost no common sense or critical thinking skills, but the book is solid enough for entertainment purposes

I don't understand

why doesn't the MC ever give ultimatums to the villains like, you kill her/him, you lose all your leverage. the best I can do for you is let you run for a few seconds. I hardly if ever see that type of writing. all these authors want to play the hero or straight villain but never the neutral lack of give a damn hero. you never see that in powered MC stories only in the no power, NPC type of story bc they don't want to die to those who have power. kinda makes me pissed that these authors are so easy to see through and see the plot every time with a new author...EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. IT. THE. SAME. SHIT. EVERY. TIME.
