But it won't be all unicorns and flowers. Dr. Luna wants me to use my rare draconic powers for good... You know, like a superhero.

It’s one crazy ride from start to finish…

Strangely, I don’t really have a Best Girl out of this Harem. They all had strange and unique personalities that Brock was uniquely qualified to deal with. Though Mamba and Tahini would probably be my choices if you backed me into a corner.

The story was fun and made me laugh many times. I definitely need to go read Esoterica though to get a tiny bit of context on some of the characters mentioned and introduced.

Not bad

Great voice acting work! Love the distinct voices for each of the characters.

Some of the characters, like Blossom or Dr. Luna, are hilarious. Others are entertaining, but a bit shallow and stereotypical.

The harem sex almost seems like it is meant less to be sexy and more to be comedic - especially in the later books where it gets formalized and bureaucratic.

I think it's book 5, maybe 4, that has the last of what could be considered to be a high-stakes conflict, or any sense of overarching plot. Beyond that it's much more casual. In fact, in a tongue-in-cheek scene at the very end of this collection, a character speaks technically in character, but stretching the fourth wall to bursting, saying that the series will keep going as long as it can, but that further books will be very low stakes and slice of life.

An indirect sequel to Esoterica

only starting book 3, but so far so good. more conservative with the harem lewd content than some, especially in book 1. Enjoy the characters and character moments. As to the title of my review, there are references to Esoterica characters and it seems the MC is related to a character from Esoterica as well. overall pretty fun. Listening to Esoterica may be beneficial before listening to this one, but still fun on its own. maybe would have preferred a male/female narrator team, but Poon does the job well.

This was awesome

So the story is literally “out of this world” but crazy cool. I was engrossed from the beginning. Characters and plot are amazing. The interactions and different levels of beings made it very interesting and hard to put down. The only thing that was a drawback was the pitch of some of the voices. It fit the character but was still hard to listen to sometimes.

Very Entertaining

First off, Alyssa Poon does such a phenomenal job! Great voice actress! Really brought the characters to life and I was able to easily and very confidently know which customer was speaking by the voice in all 6 books. very consistent. The story was intriguing and highly entertaining. The only thing that I didn't really like was that they didn't age mentally. It doesn't matter if they lived thousands of years or even millions of years, they still acted like middle teens/early 20s. There was no mental growth. There was character growth, don't get me wrong....but it just lacked the sense of agelessness that the world seemed like it should have. Oh, and the whole dude-bro mentality of all of the male characters was kind of off-putting. To be fair though, this is nit-picking just because it prevented me from immersing myself to that next level of engagement in the story. The story line and actual plot of the story was good, in my opinion.

Dumb Batman

Why did you make the MC feel so stupid. I really was liking the book but I feel like it was really hard to like him with the flaws is the way he interacts with the other characters. Like his background is an english teacher and I feel like that was just to give him job.

Fun insanity

A bit trope but a very fun read if you are able to suspend your version of reality and step into the story

this is an amazing value for a single credit

story story is pretty good and I love a lot of the scenes, great characters and it leaves off in a good place

Best series ever written

It’s got everything. Action, romance, comedy, emotional impact, spice. Also probably one of the best narrators in the business.
