Recommended

This story starts out a lot like other billionaire romance stories. It isn't long before the christian aspect is introduced and expanded as the story went on. The characterization was spot on and the pacing kept me waiting to see what would happen next.

Lorana Hoopes (author), the narrator, did a great job with the portrayal and voices of the characters. I did feel that the rate of speech could have been a little slower, at times it felt like she was reading the story quickly instead of telling the story naturally. Overall a great job.

A changed life

This is a good story about Maxwell changing his life to care for his daughter he suddently learns he has. He changes his life spiritually also. I enjoyed the narrator very much. A very good story to listen to. I received a free copy from the author. This is my honest, voluntary review.

Great Christian Love story

Filled with the miracle of God's love and how he brings what we need when we need it into our lives. I was very impressed by Lorana Hoopes reading her own story. She brings such life to the story and for each character. I can not wait to listen to her next story.

A surprise guest

Lorana did a wonderful job again. This was a good story, I recommend it to everybody. A knock on the door brings a surprise visit from an ex-girlfriend introducing his daughter. the changes that he needs to go through and the relationships that build. I hope that you'll enjoy the book as much as I did.

New beginnings

Good story about Maxwell the main character changing his life to care for his daughter. I enjoyed hearing this story on audible. The narrator was good.

A beautiful change through faith

Max was not very likeable at first. He was a very irredeemable womanizer. A major event happened that had him changing is lifestyle for the better. Peyton, Alyssa, and Ellen was exactly what he needed. Alyssa at times was frustrating in that she doesn't practice what she preached. But that just makes the story more realistic. I enjoyed listening to Max and Alyssa finding each other and falling in love. Dealing with loss, forming a relationship with God and reconnecting with family. The narration was ok. I could differentiate between male and female voices but the inflections was off. Most of her sentences run together and leaves me with an out of breath feeling. I was given this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

Great story!

This is my first book by Lorana Hoopes and I really enjoyed it! I loved how she took a flawed character and showed the process of him finding healing and purpose with all the facets in his life.

I've listened to a few books now by this author, and I didn't realize until this book that it's the author narating! she does a really good job, I like the tone of her voice a lot. especially for a clean, Christian romance, it's soothing. I did not expect to tear up at this story, but I did. it was really sweet to see max and Payton together. I will definitely check out the next book in the series

Sweet story

This is a refreshing change from all of those erotic romances.
The narration needs a pause between scene changes.
If I had a glass of water every time Justin called Max "man," I'd be very well hydrated.
