Sweet Romance

Laney and Tyler .... Lorana is so creative with her writing and knows how to draw her readers in to a a sweet romantic love story . The story has sweet romance , a little drama , and the characters have faith in a heavenly father . Like how a christian contemporary romance can have a great love story and have a message about trusting god in finding the right soul mate .
The narrator is did an amazing job !

A good story

This story is also in book form. The narrator did a great job with the story. She brought the story to life for me. I enjoyed this story of Laney Swann and Cowboy Tyler Hall. Laney Swann is a makeup artist. When she get fired from her job she goes back home to find out that her old friend has call. Her friend wants her to do the makeup for a reality Tv show. When she gets there to she meets Cowboy Tyler Hall and Sparks began to fly.

I received a complimentary copy to listen to from the author. The is my honest unbiased opinion.

Spoiler free review

this was such a cute story. As someone who's guilty pleasure was watching the last season of The Bachelorette, I was curious how the author would spin a clean story about dating show. Very successful I must say. This was a new to me narrator, and I really liked the tone of her voice. All in all it was a good listen

Fun Story!

I read it in one sitting, actually stayed up all night. Not because it was short, but because I really enjoyed this story. I laughed through most of the pages. More than once my hubby ask me what's so funny. I highly recommend this book if you love sweet fun stories.

Delightful romance novella

This is a sweet, Christian romance that takes on reality dating shows. The two leads are both Christians who want love and fulfillment, and even though it takes a strange route to get there they find God's path for them.

Many times in novellas, I feel that the pace is too rushed because that's the nature of a novella. With this one, though, the couple felt believable. The chemistry worked, and the characters had interests and friends outside each other.

One of the nice things about this story was that you could tell it was written by a Texan. There were things there that showed appreciation and not arrogant swagger.

The only thing I didn't like with the story is that there were a few cliches that made me groan. It didn't stop me enjoying the story, which is why I can't think to number them here.

Now to the performance itself, Hoopes reads her own story, and she did excellent voice work. It's not often that an author is able to do this. Her characters sounded like characters, and it was a joy to relax and listen.

I recommend this to others who want a clean romance. I'd be willing to listen to more of Hoopes' works.

Realistic Christian story

I love listening to Lorana Hoopes read a story. She does such a great job The story is sweet but not sicky so. I love that it is a Christian story and very clean that my 12 year old niece I would not have a problem reading it. Lanie is strong but has some issues she works through . The story is very realistic and loved listening to the story.

author as her own narrator: great job

The Cowboy's Reality Bride was both a sweet and fun listen. It was certainly interesting to have the author be her own narrator, but I think she did a great job. The different voices, as well as the inflections and such, were on point. My only advice would be to check the sentence that repeats itself in the middle of the book, and also that during Laney's getting to know Nancy for the first time, Nancy's voice didn't sound like what the listener had been used to till then. Other than that, the story was fantastic and I really appreciated and loved that despite this being a reality TV romance, it was also Christian Fiction, and thus their faith felt real in Laney and Tyler's lives and relationship. ~ 4.5 stars

Great Read

The Cowboy’s Reality Bride (Blushing Brides #1) was another great read by Lorana Hoopes. Tyler is a cowboy who is looking for love and was encouraged to be a contestant on a reality dating tv show. He is reluctant to go on the show but decides to anyway. Laney was fired from her job and an old friend convinces her to be a makeup artist on a reality tv dating show. She expects to do her job and then start over after. She definitely doesn’t expect to fall for the cowboy bachelor. I really enjoyed Tyler and Laney’s story and can’t wait to read more by Lorana Hoopes.

Fun quick listen

The Cowboy's Reality Bride
: Lorana Hoopes

This is a sweet, clean, almost western romance. A reality tv show brings together a cowboy and a group of women wanting to become his bride. Lots of little side trips before an interesting ending.

The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed. Lorana Hoopes (the author) also narrated this book.

Amazing read/listen

The Cowboy’s Reality Bride, my sixteenth incredible read from wonderful Christian author Lorana Hoopes. The author’s Texas roots show as her books are set in The Lonestar State. This is another amazing Christian read, God's hand is apparent throughout the book, if there's a flaw in this book it's that it's too short, I want to read more about Laney & Tyler. I don't do spoilers though so you'll have to read it and find out for yourself! I was given an Audible copy of this book & am voluntarily reviewing it & since I own both the Audible & Kindle editions I was able to follow along while being read to. Lorana Hoopes’s talented self-narration & Texas accent/drawl adds to the well-written book's enjoyment as no one knows her characters like the creator. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).
