Though I was born with the ability to see the dead, I struggled with it until my brother was killed and his ghost was left behind. Now, I’m determined to figure out who is responsible for his death…the problem is that Detective Maddox Booker, the one working the case, is a grumpy and stubborn man who wants nothing to do with me and definitely doesn’t believe in ghosts. It doesn’t help that I keep finding myself looking ridiculous in front of the detective, thanks to interfering ghosts who enjoy laughing at my expense.

“You are the savior of mankind” are the last words I ever expected to hear while nibbling on fries. The thing is, I’m not mankind saving material. I don’t even have magic (and just found out it exists). I’m the most boring, normal(ish) human ever. Suddenly, I’m being tossed right into the middle of a fight that started years before I was even born, and then I get partnered up with Alastair, a quirky magical Guardian. He is rather attractive and sweet when he’s not into the whole “woe is me, I can’t let myself fall in love with you” nonsense.

My whole life, I’ve been taught to despise shifters. So when I’m hired to track two escaped convicts, I’m suddenly thrust into the world I hate - or thought I did. Yet I’m inexplicably drawn to the alpha of the pack, whose land the convicts may be hiding on. He’s different than any shifter I've ever met - laidback and quick to laugh, caring, and protective. As secrets are revealed, I start to wonder if everything I’ve been raised to believe was a lie, though it may not matter, because it seems like someone wants us dead.

Let the glitter war continue
We finally get to really meet Knot and figure out what his story is. This book has a little more tension than the others due to the fact that Damien is seeing Matthew and his dad objects to that, but we still have the humor and love we have all come to expect from the SDSG. The chat conversations are still some of my favorite parts to these books! They make me LOL almost every time. Their friendship has lasted through all kinds of events and changes and will continue their whole lives. And Michael Ferraiuolo is easily one of the best audiobook narrators out there!

My favorite of the series.
Damien and Matthew, Insta Love and a HEA.
Not only are all the Dads and their partners in this story but Damien finds his Baby Boy.
Michael Ferraiuolo does an excellent job narrating all of the different characters and bringing this group of men to life.
Piper Scott did a great job tying up the loose ends for the dads and as always leaving the listener wanting more.
I honestly enjoyed this book and the entire Single Dad Support Group series.

Love is in the salty air
The series itself is enjoyable but this one definitely works well as a standalone.
Damien fell for his friend’s son and he didn’t see that one coming for sure.
Alpha Damien is wealthy, serious and he’s in a sassy and fun dad group chat which is totally not his style. However, that doesn’t make him feel less welcomed and had fun in the group.
At a destination wedding in Fiji, he met a young, innocent and lovely omega Matthew and fell for him not knowing he’s his friend’s son.
They had their fun, sexy time abroad and when they got back home, they had to face reality and solve the differences between them to have a happy ending they both deserve so much.
I really had great fun listening this book. Damien and Matthew were realistic, fun, romantic and sexy together. Piper Scott never let me down when it comes to a great ABO love story. Thoroughly enjoyed it and recommended this to anyone who loves sexy and fun ABO love stories.

Full Circle
Aww I loved this series and though Hate seeing them go really love how it came full circle. We get the start of Matthew's story in the first book right along with his Dad and Alex and it was nice to see him get his HEA along with my favorite single "dad". This story was one of my favorites. I really would have liked to get more of Damien's family but was happy with how it all wrapped up. Ferraiuolo does a great job bringing all these characters to life.

Would I listen to it again: if i'm doing a series re-listen
Did the story keep me engaged: mostly
Was I invested in the characters: mildly
📖 Story comment: Good pace, easy listen and likeable characters.
This was my least favorite of the series. I liked the concept behind a drunk Damien joining a "Single Daddies" support group after loosing his boy and staying because the Single Dads were a great group of men who became more than online friends, but there were parts of the story that felt incomplete and character behaviours that didn't match with the characters we have come to know from the other books. I didn't connect with Damien or Matthew's characters at all compared with the other characters of the series.
🎧 Narrator comment: Michael Ferraiuolo's narration is delightful, I particularly enjoy the life he brings to the online chat conversations.

This is a great last story in this fun series by Piper Scott. We get to know Damian/ Knot my problem much better. He finds his boy closer by, Matthew and he are a fun couple with sweet Emily. Ofcourse we a lot of the other SDS in this book. This might be the funniest book in the series. I burst out laughing out loud a fair bit

The characters were unique, and spicy Michael is by far my favourite character in the series so far. Damien though is wonderful. He is so curious and different in the best way. He’s perfect for Michael. And Emily is awesome I adore her.

Glitter Goodness
Glitter Goodness
I love Piper Scott. I’m loving the Single Dad Support Group Series. So, naturally, I loved The Answer.
Matthew had been introduced in the very first book and I knew he’d get his own story. It’s been almost four years since he had his daughter Emily and she’s grown into quite a lovely little girl. Being raised alongside her aunt is a cute notion. Anyway, Matthew spends his days caring for the girls, but he’s ready for more. He was a teen dad when he had Emily and he’s now eyeing going back to school. And although he’s not officially a member of the Single Dad Support Group, he’s been invited to the wedding of one of the group.
And he finally meets the elusive Damian. Now, he doesn’t know Damian is one of his dad’s best friends and there’s instant chemistry. Once Matthew makes the connection, and once Damian faces up to the potential consequences of bedding his buddy’s son, they decide to keep their distance. Except I knew that wasn’t going to hold.
But breaking unspoken rules has consequences. Yes, Damian wants a boy and Matthew wants a Daddy, but the distance between Aurora and New York City is pretty big. Unless there’s something that might bring them together. And something that might impact their lives forever.
I loved this book. Have I said that already? I’ll say it again. It’s in the top ten for laugh-out-loud fun. Glitter. That stuff gets everywhere. I mean, EVERYWHERE. So needless to say, I laughed almost until I cried. I don’t have kids so I avoid the crap like the plague. These men in the support group? It’s a thing. Just another thing to bond over. And the love between them is palpable. I’ve watched the group evolve, struggle, and come out stronger.
Finally, I have to mention Michael Ferraiuolo. His ability to bring these characters to life is heart-warming. I’ve loved every moment of this series and he’s a big reason why. He and Ms. Scott are a match made in audio heaven.

As much as I enjoyed all the books and all the characters in this series, I have to admit that I hold a special spot in my heart for Matthew and Damien. This book feels kind of like the pinacle of the series - it is just SO on spot. It is funny, heart-felt, and the heat level is absolutely amazing. Damien and Matthew are especially fantastic. Matthew is my absolute favourite. He is a fantastic father, and such a perfect boy for Damien. I love the relationship between them as well - it is so heartfelt, and Damien is so willing to do whatever he needs to do to show Matthew how much he loves him and will support him. One thing that really stood out for me in this series is the portray of Matthew's daughter - she acts like a real 4 year old, and I love the bonding between her and Damien.
As always, Michael Ferraiuolo represented the characters with such life. The quality of the audio was professional and clear, and his pacing and humour was a delight. I loved all the voices used, and it was easy to distinguish who was who as they had unique voices but also personalities.
This book is amazing. In text or audio it is the answer to what you need to read!

Excellent conclusion to a terrific series
This is a great end to a very enjoyable series. Knot/Damien has shown up in the other books and we finally get his story and his HEA. He has an instalove connection with Matthew, who we met in Book 1. Matthew is a young, single Dad whose own Dad is very much in the picture and disapproves of the whirlwind romance. The story is sexy, sweet and funny. I loved the two of them together. But the best part I have to say is Michael Ferraiuolo’s narration. He could literally read the phone book, and I’d be like sign me up - take my Audible credits now, thank you. He brings these characters to life so much so that you forget that he is the one doing the talking. And the way he delivers humor is amazing. I cannot recommend this audio enough - a great story with an insanely talented narrator = win win.

A story that glitters
Piper Scott did a super awesome job with the story that started in book 1, okay not started but hope for Matthew. Damien and Matthew are great characters to get to know and their growth as individuals and as a couple was done brilliantly. Michael Ferraiuolo brought his A game as always with the narration. A series to own, as it will get frequent use.
This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

got to give the series elevenity-billion stars!
Independent reviewer for Gay Romance Reviews, I was gifted the audio file of this book.
Excuse me, a moment please, while I have a hissy fit.
NO! No, no no no nope! I don't wanna! I don't wanna write my review for this book, because that will mean this series has finished, and I don't want it to be!! *insert wailing noises. *insert stomping foot noises. *insert throwing toys out the pram noises. *insert noises along the lines of "I'll scream and scream until I'm sick"!
And breathe.
So, now I've had my hissy fit, spat my dummy and all that jazz, here's what I thought about this last book in the Single Dad Support Group series.
While listening to this series, KnotMyProblem has been a bit of an enigma. He hasn't mentioned a child, at all and we get the whole sorry story about how he came to be in the group! And he wasn't very nice to Aaron (The Proposal, book 2), Gage's partner.(That made me chuckle, that Damian won't use his name!) But here? Here we get Damian in all his glory. And the fall out is massive, given the metric f ton of glitter that went into this book!
I mean, not only did Damian glitter-bomb Matthew's room in Fiji, but when Damian gets his revenge on the idiot at work?? I was walking, and I had to stop, sit on the side of the road and just bask in all the glory that is KnotMyProblem on the warpath! It was truly glorious.
While Damian does all this, he also falls in love with a boy we met when he was just 16 years old, alone and pregnant. Matthew is ALL grown up now, his daughter is 4 years old and Damian is JUST the man for him, just the Daddy for him: the one he didn't know he needed.
And I think that's what I loved most about this. Matthew did NOT question his feeling for Damian, he did not question when Damian tells him about his need to look after his boy, and he did not, not once, question the love between them.
I could understand why Gwynning (Matthew's dad) does what he does when he found out, but I cried a little for him when he talks to Matthew about his relationship with Damian. It was quite an emotional chat.
Michael Ferraiuolo narrates, as he does with the whole series. I loved the narration, I really did. His voices for all the characters are consistant all the way through. I loved how he gets across all the emotions of the characters. But I equally love the way he narrates the chats in the group.
I have no doubt I would have loved this series had I read it, but the narration takes it to a whole new level.
I have loved a lot with this group of men. I have cried and cheered, I have swore and sobbed. And I have loved every minute of these guys. It's always, ALWAYS sad when a series ends, but I seem to be especially attached to these guys!
Thank you, Ms Scott for writing about these guys, I truly loved them. And than YOU Mr Ferraiuolo for bringing to life.
5 stars for the narration
5 stars for the book
5 stars overall, but really I want to give the whole series elevenity-billion stars!

Bittersweet ending
I completely fell in love with this series.
The characters are absolutely realistic and relatable.
They leapt off the page and wormed their way into my heart.
Damien AKA Knotty and Matthew finally get a starring role after being side characters.
Their romance was absolutely sweet and adorable.
Of course hijinks ensue and the final chat thread was side-splitting.
This series was absolutely wonderful, filled with the highs and lows of fatherhood, friendship and true love.
Wonderful narration by Michael Ferraioulo as per usual.

Absolute Perfection!
Not a standalone - you simply MUST read the other books in the series (because they're all AWESOME!).
Knot is my favourite character from the series and it kills me that he had to be the last to get his HEA - but what a sweet HEA it is. Matthew is perfect for Damien and our Knot (Damien's online username) is so completely ready to have a boy to take care of and adore.
The unravelling of the events - from the infamous GlitterWar (TM) in Fiji and all through Damien's work struggles are all so brilliantly told by Piper with passion, humour and raw emotions that the reader is completely swept up in the maelstrom of feelings, leaving us smiling, panting and perhaps even with a tear in our eye.
The narration by Michael Ferrauiolo - once again - adds a whole new layer to the story, especially when it comes to the interactions with the children. His amazing voice bringing to life Emily's antics made my heart explode!
My life is now complete that this wonderful series is all in Audio and all mine to listen to (or read) whenever I need to revisit my favourite Single Dads.
