Publisher's Summary

Naughty brat needs a strong guiding hand. Must love dogs. Reply ASAP.

Toby Andrews is a busy, forgetful, scatterbrained musician with ADHD, a precocious dog named Ruffles, and a bad rep for partying too hard. When Toby’s actions put an all-important contract with a large label in jeopardy, his manager sarcastically suggests the omega needs a keeper who'll redden his bottom if he steps out of line. Toby is intrigued, so when he sees an ad for a discreet company called Rent-a-Dom while scrolling his social media page, he impulsively sends a request for a Daddy Dom to help him stay on track.

Thorne Barrett is a jaded, worn-out daddy of a dom who has no desire to babysit some naughty, out-of-control celebrity brat. The alpha reluctantly takes the job, promising himself he’ll find new employment when the contract is over. He doesn't know what his next step might be, but whatever it is, he hopes it will leave him stable enough so he can settle down and think about having a family of his own.

Neither man is precisely what the other expected. Once Thorne gets his naughty "boy" settled into a routine, Toby begins to blossom and find better ways to focus...and most importantly, stay of out trouble with the paparazzi.

Between band issues, a crazed stalker, an unexpected pregnancy, and a 30-day cross-country tour, Toby has a lot on his plate. Can he find stability for himself and Ruffles with Daddy Thorne?

This MM audiobook contains Mpreg, D/S elements, and is intended for 18-plus listeners.

Warning: Don't listen unless you like fun stories with feisty Chihuahuas, naughty boys who really want to be good, hot daddy alphas, a story that will keep you in stitches, and steam-filled passion. But then again, this is a Susi Hawke and Piper Scott collaboration - you already knew to expect that, didn’t you?

Loved the audio version of this delightful book!

Loved the audio version of this delightful book! The narrator, Nick Russo did a great job of bringing to life parts of the story that were even better with his reading. Really enjoyed listening to this book!

A musician, a Daddy Dom, jealous band members, a fake marriage, a stalker and falling in love create a terrific story! There is a little kink, not much but enough to make it fun. The characters are well crafted and the writing flowed nicely. I really liked the MC's and was rooting for them from the introduction.

There were some interesting twists and turns in this story and i would recommend reading it and enjoying! Toby and Thorne have a perfect fit and i really enjoyed their banter.

I am looking forward to the next 'Doms for Rent' book in the series!

Great start to the series!

Overall: 4.5 Stars!
Story: 4 Stars!
Narration: 5 Stars!

Susi Hawke and Piper Scott are quickly becoming one of my favorite collaborative teams! I had only listened to their shifter mpreg series before, but I jumped at the chance of reviewing this omegaverse series as well, and I'm so happy I did!

While I wasn't too sure I was going to like Toby at first, he quickly won me over. He was a unique brand of adorable and sassy. I loved how he cared for Ruffles, his chihuahua, who I loved to bits, and how spacey he could be about everything else until Thorne got into his life. And of course, who wouldn't swoon at having a daddy such as Thorne? He was just perfect. Protective and supportive and all the things a good Daddy should be. Their chemistry was off the roof, and the progression of their relationship was great. I just loved how well they meshed up together, especially after they discovered Toby was pregnant.

The narration was amazing, just as Nick J. Russo has me used to. He not only had distinctive voices for the main characters, but for all the other players in the story. His tone is pleasant and very easy to follow, and damn, if he hasn't a special talent to narrate sexy times!

Overall, definitely an audiobook you shouldn't miss out on!

Simple MM Mpreg HEA...

Perhaps these books are not for me. I usually listen to Michael Pauley, who is an exceptional narrator. Having listened to many of his books, I'm spoiled with his perfection. After reading "Obey", I was introduced to Piper Scott. It was an okay book simply because it lacked depth in development. But, I decided to give "Daddy Wanted" a try. Having deviated from Michael, I just couldn't get into Nick Russo. His voice did not capture me and I did not feel the sincerity in his words.

"Daddy Wanted" turned out to be very similar to "Obey" in the sense that it lacked character development, situation development and relationship development; A task that is hard to do in 4 hours. Hoping that this was a romance hot novel, it turned out to be "platonic" for more than the first half; this made me impatient. And when Toby and Thorne got together, finally, I wondered "why"? They were not into each other. I just didn't feel their chemistry at all.

Also, I love MM, but I learned that I'm really not into Mpreg... because I don't get it. If you can get pass this, then perhaps you will enjoy the story. This is a very simple HEA book.

I'm not a big fan of this book. Sorry.

Couldn’t finish it

This was one of the most annoying reads ever. This was like a Looney Tunes cartoon of a BDSM romance. Both the twit and the dom were caricatures. I’m sure there is an audience for this, but it’s not for me. Back it goes.

Good But Not Great

What I liked: This is the audible equivalent to a short story so it gets into the story very quickly sans dragged out build up. Loved the daddy-vibe D/S aspects although the D was a bit too patronizing for my tastes, it's still not a deal breaker. The sexual presentations were very nicely spiced with spanking, excellent and I wanted more, more, more, more of that. Nick Russo is a superb narrator, his interpretations of voice and inflection spot on!

What I did not like so much / detracted: Two main niggles. First, though forewarned by the site synopsis, I have never read a fiction with MPreg. My gut reaction was not good at first. I enjoyed it some at first until things got to TMI (too much information) territory and entirely was unattractive for me. To it's credit, the book does not try and otherwise indoctrinate you to what must be a giant MPreg universe. So the question remains, would the book work without MPreg? Unqualified yes. The authors could have expanded other aspects to take its place . Will I read another MPreg book? No, I will not.

My second niggle is that I am not a fan of dropping real-world celebrity names. It felt very gratuitous and even lazy. I prefer authors/stories that create their own celebrities and help us to learn to celebrate them and the authors talent to create them.

Minus one star for the celebrities, minus one for MPreg. Will I read another title by the authors? Maybe, maybe not.

Daddy Wanted

A great start to a new series. I really enjoyed the ebook and hearing the audio was just amazing. It adds so much to the story especially with this great narrator who made it so enjoyable. He brings life to the characters and the story. I especialy love the narrator's portrayal of Toby. Thorne is exactly what Toby needs in his life. Thorne centers Toby and makes his life so much better. I love how Thorne takes charge and really cares about Toby and helps him with every aspect of his life, even his career. Love them as a couple and Ruffles is just too cute! I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Cute story

I liked the narrator. He captured their personalities nicely.

Toby is an up and coming rockstar. The tabloids love his screwups and he realizes he needs a minder. He hires a Dom to help put his life in order. When Thorn comes into his life it changes forever, better than he could of hoped for. Thorn starts out as a for hire Dom. Before long he has Toby’s life is in order and his heart is lost to the man who just really needs a daddy.

If they can get thorough an unexpected pregnancy, band drama, grumpy parents, and a stalker, their life will be perfect.

Cute story of a boy, his rat dog, and his forever daddy.

Light, Quick Listen

If you like light, happy books this is a great one. It's sweet and funny with lovable characters and a HEA. Nick Russo does a good job voicing the MCs and it was easy to keep track of who's who.

as great as the ebook

The story is always full stars, because if I wouldn't like the story as ebook, I wouldn't listen to the audiobook.

The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. Nick J Russo is one of the top 5 narrators for me, I can listen without break and have no problems to follow.
I'm just not yet finish with the book, but I listen enough to give a review.

PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!!

great intro to mpreg

I'm new to omegaverse mpreg stories and honestly if you are on the fence this is the book for you. Also the Daddy kink is also a great place if you are unsure if it's your thing.

This is my first book by this narrator and I enjoyed his voice throughout the book.

BRATTY OMEGA

Love Thorn and Toby's story, Toby's a brat but I love that he knows whento look for help when he needs it. he made the first step to help himself even if he doesn't see it like that at first, love his struggle towards making himself a better person and also his love for Thorn and his friends and family.
Thorn is daddy Dom that hnows what he wants and knows how to get it, he's also a discipline Alpha but also a loving one at that even if his features doesn't look it.

A fluffy MPREG comfort read!

Rich, rising rock star Toby Andrews has ADHD and is easily distracted. His sex, drugs & rock’n’roll lifestyle ain’t helping his personal life, his reputation, or his chances of signing a recording contract. On the insistence of his manager, he seeks the services of Rent-a-Dom who match him with Thorne Barrett, an world-weary alpha who’s experienced in giving wayward omegas routine and discipline - this will be his last job. This sweet and fluffy MPREG romance is good-natured and inoffensive with little character or relationship depth. The daddy-dom / boy dynamic is very light, Thorne is more like a life coach, personal organiser and head of security. The authors set up a few interesting plot lines but resolve them all so effortlessly that they are completely trivialised. And that’s all ok, sometimes you just want a comfort read. If you’re tired of angst and just want to coast on a feel-good / no-brainer for a while, this is for you. Of course, the cuddly voiced Nick J Russo provides the perfect audio narration.
