Simplifying the complex world of beer & brewing

A must read for anyone interested in beer, history and/or culinary arts. I also found that following along with the 2nd edition book helpful, especial later chapters about style.

Lots of new info

Great updated information from the first edition. Some of the narrator's pronounciations are suspect, but not from lack of enthusiasm 🍻

THE Modern Standard

Randy Mosher’s Tasting Beer 2nd Edition is the modern standard by which all other beer books are measured. It’s the first book anyone should read in their quest for Cicerone certification or even just to get a better deeper understanding of anything and everything Beer.

audio book. ftw

narrator didn't seem bored like some can with nonfiction. have the book can't find time to sit down. listened to this over 2 days while at work. l am trying to build a better vocabulary for what I'm tasting. food pairings and beer cocktails seem really well thought out. If you like beer at all. this is a good listen. will revisit. in the future for sure

Pronounciation changes

Only thing I didn't like was that the narrator would pronounce the same world 3-4 different ways sometimes. I'm familiar with most of the words but I could see it being really confusing for someone who wasn't. Otherwise it was a fantastic read and well narrated.
