Reasonable effort, served its purpose

I wondered whether the stillness topic (based on sampling here and Amazon) was enough to sustain a full listening-through of the subject book. In other words, I wondered whether the subject book really had anything new to say to me about it. Of course I'm guessing, but this seems to be a reasonably effort at summarizing the book. Obviously (to me), this civilization has what I would term a stillness deficit. As vital as I think this matter is, I concluded I do not need to read the subject book. There seems much overlap with the current surplus of stoicism titles, alongside all sorts of other sources old and new on the benefits of self-composure. The subject book looks from this vantage like a pop version of same.
