The dog
I’ve read my fair share of alien romance novels and the dog being able to communicate was hands down my favorite part of this book. Granted I loved the characters and the plot and trails they had to go through but the dog was my favorite. Definitely would recommend.

Read the book first
If you can before listening to it. The narrator really took a lot away from the story in my opinion. Every character was very flat and unemotional.
The story is unique and I really enjoyed it. I can’t wait for the next book to come out.

Came to this based off the "humans are space orcs" trend. That's not exactly what this is but it's still really good. I really would love to read a follow up on the main pairing one day as per the summary the sequel concentrates on a side character.

Really sweet
Really sweet alien romance. I enjoyed the slow burn of their relationship. I didnt super love the VA, she became a bit monotonous and it would have been nice to have a Male va for Xylars pov.
